Yes, some guys think girls are as visual as they are and seeing their penis it will make the girls wet. Some girls have actually said that’s true but not many.

But moreover it’s a part of an interactive game for guys. While guys like porn and will use it to pleasure themselves the interactive nature of sexting and communicating with a person is much more fun. They get to hear a girls reaction and can be creative in telling them a story, while seeing her naked pics and getting their ego blown by knowing they make her feel pleasure. Do this is the main reason guys send dick pics to random girls, they feel like it’s a game.

Not sure if the guys who do it actually think this far ahead.. But statistics show that once in every rare while, these pictures do work. As long as that's a thing, it'll probably continue happening.

The other reason could be that these guys fail to be able to put themselves in the girls shoes. Because the dude in question would love to see pictures of the girl, he believes that to also be the case for the girl.
