My girlfriend does not often go bra-less but she has in the past and I have no objection. If it works for her and she thinks it is appropriate, I love her and trust her judgment. Besides, heck, it is kind of sexy and if some other guy is turned on by it, I think, "Hey, she's mine!! I win!!!" (Sort of kidding on that last part.)

That all said. The one thing you can do, if it bothers you is you can ask her, politely and gently, if she thinks it will look good in the outfit she is wearing or if she thinks it is appropriate. However, make it her choice and not your order.

As men, we don't really have a sense of what it is like to wear a bra. We don't have to. It is about what works for her and what she is comfortable with and what she thinks is appropriate. Respect her judgment as an adult. Express any misgivings you might have and leave it there.

Not at all. By the way, I meant to answer your bikini question - but essentially the same answer only more so. The beach is casual and there is nothing wrong, depending on the place, with something that is revealing. (Besides, it probably would not be so bad for you, right?) Again, let her be the judge. Heck, my girlfriend and I have been on a nude beach - so if you think a bikini is a problem... Anyhow, hope my opinion helped.
