Is my mum accurate by saying the way I was dressed caused me to be touched without my consent?

The cause was that person's decision. To preface, you are not at fault, but it would be silly to say that your attire did not influence that person's decision, but again, that does not mean it is your fault. The person who made the decision at fault. You can look at it this way, it's not your fault that someone stole your computer, but when you leave your computer unattended at a library while nobody else does, you're inclining thief to steal your computer specifically.

The way you dress or act should never lead to inappropriate behavior or at its worst being touched by some random horny person. BUT. If we're being honest, there just are those nasty people out there, and when you give em something that sexy and out there, you trigger those people, and stuff could happen.
