Before or after the next time you have sex, tell him the sex you have is fun and you enjoy it, but has he ever thought about being more rough in bed. Tell him some of the things you enjoy or would like to try with him and ask him what sort of kinks he has too that he would like to try.
A purely hypothetical
Maybe you want it harder and your hair pulled and maybe he wants to finish on your feet or to spank you.
Don't do anything you aren't comfortable with but be open to trying some of the things he wants and he will be open to trying the things you want.
The key to a good sex life is communication, being open to new things and establishing boundaries 🙂.

Have an adult conversation outside the bedroom.
This is THE most common complaint from women - that their men are too passe, too passive in bed. If you fuck a woman hard and well they keep coming back for more. If you fail, they get bored, shut down sexually, cheat bail or any combination of these. :)

Just ask. He'll love it. Make sure you describe what you want, though, just in case he goes over the edge with it. If it's going to be too rough, might as well have a safe word just in case.
