Is my ex trying to make me jealous? Are men able to have meaningless sex?

I broke up with an ex after he was basically caught out! I asked him to forget about it and take me back. He was angry and told me never contact him again.

So I blocked him deleted his number photos etc!

Then 6 weeks later he finds me on a new social media account!! Starts to talk about how much he misses sex with me! That it was so good etc! That he can’t get that with other women etc. Then after a week or so I agree for him to come to my house!

I wouldn't jump into bed with him as I didn’t want to feel used afterwards. I did really want to! He can make me orgasm like 10 times. It seemed I got a lot more out off it! But he said for him it was the best sex ever! I don’t see how if I’m the one getting all the pleasure?

Then after that 1 night off meeting up and no sex I don’t hear from him for a week.

So I text him, I was cross. after all he told me never contact me again and told me to move on after the first breakup.

So I tell him that I had been dating a guy who I broke up with 1 week after he got in touch again! It was only a really casual thing and we hadn’t been intimidate but seen him for 4 weeks.

He sends a shocked reply! Then I tell him I want to see him he won’t reply!

That was a week ago I just checked his social media and 2 days after I told him I broke up With someone for him. He has a picture off him by himself saying he was staying in a hotel with a woman. He is very private never talks about his private life or posts pictures off himself!!

I know it sounds so desperate and it is but I’m so heartbroken. I’ve turnrd down lots off dates etc and tried to move on however I can’t seem to get my head around him. I’m so desperate and needy and it’s off putting so I’m just ignoring him. What do I do?

Yes it's possible for men to have sex without feeling but why would you that would be kind of boring? Guess he could be trying to make you jealous but you don't know what his motivations are. I'm not sure if something you could ask him

Personally I’ve only done it once, felt horrible about it. But i know other guys can have hookups without feelings. Because I had a relationship and lost my virginity to someone I was with for 14 years I can’t go back (was never there to begin with) to casual sex without emotions; just seems cheap.

Me neither. I think what many people who are hooking up and having casual sex don’t understand is just how much better making love is. They just get horny and get that physical pleasure. But when you have deep feelings or are in love then it’s whole other levels: physical pleasure, emotional connection, spiritual intimacy, mental sharing, creativity and safety. If I just need to cum due to being horny then I masturbate. But when I make love with someone special it’s on a whole higher level for hours when the rest of the world shuts off and it’s just us.

Believe me I have tried I’ve been on dates and dates for 4 weeks if he hadn’t come I’d have been well moved on. I think he does like me however he’s embarrassed by my age there’s a 16 year age gap!
