Is crossdressing a lifestyle, a hobby or is it something else?

For some it's a hobby, and for others it's their whole life. What does it mean to you?

Here is my opinion: I think its Something Else

Whatever people want to call it it is up to them.

Personally, my coin collecting, building custom vehicles, ham radios are my hobbies. My crossdressing is much more than that, not my whole life but a very important part of it. I could give up any hobby, but never crossdressing. (Believe me, I tried to give it up. Many many times)

It started out as a Fetish (Thanks to a girl that introduced it), it progressed to a habit and hobby and now I excepted it as a part of my life.

So thats my opinion... What's yours?

  • Why does it have to be 'labeled'? Why can't a person just like what they like, and not need a label to divide, or be ostracized when others judge, with ignorance?

    • Yeah, your right. But this question should get noticed and hence the reason for the wording

    • Why not just love what you love, and don't give two shakes of a limp dick what anyone else thinks? Why do you need understanding, and maybe 'acceptance' from others, just being who you are?

    • I am and I don't care what peoplle think about me. But I'm so freaking bored and pent up. That this question is basically a time kill. While I'm stuck being awake. I have to stay awake to pump out my basement of water. Yes I'm having flooding issues right now. This is entertainment and to keep me awake so the pumps don't run dry.

    Laurie's Tribute to Cross Dressing

  • All of the above.

  • Yeah I was kinda given the idea as a kid. For years I must’ve been curious about it. Then as the lingerie and swim suit magazines came in I got more and more turned on with those outfits. Once I was old enough to shop I was so excited to buy some for myself. I tried to give up the fetish but once I saw the sexy lingerie or outfits I just got excited beyond belief. It’s become a part of all my relationships and hasn’t impacted me at all since most of it can be under my guy clothes. A lot of partners accepted it. Some even asked if I wanted to try their thong on before I even told them I had my own. I think it’s harmless but definitely something different then a hobby or lifestyle.

    • Totally agree

  • Some men find it as an outlet or escape, maybe living a fantasy. Or find enjoyment in it. They might have artistic side. Obsessed with bright colors and shimmer. . Its not a hobby, or an addiction. its just can be summarized as their own version. Of narnia.
but most of these men are either coping as a transgender or a gay man
