Is there something wrong with being a "slut"?

Whether it's a female "slut" or a "manslut" or whateverthefuck, is there something wrong with it? Why do some people consider "sluttiness" such a bad thing? Why do you think that is?

What do you think? Hmm?

  • In my opinion, the term doesn't matter to me because I'd rather not use that against anyone especially who's a female. The only thing for me that I think can be something wrong with which is better to say "promiscuous" to them, for both genders, is that, if not taken proper precautions with sex like going raw, people are risking themselves transmitting STDS around each other or causing unwanted pregnancy therefore possibly causing younger women or men to raise the child on their own while either the mother or father ends up leaving becoming absent in the child's life. For that, it can likely cause the child when growing up continuing the cycle with risky behaviors depending how they are raised. And people who are into proper relationships like monagamous or genuine polyamorous dislike it. For one, a good ass logical insecure reason that they can have is like what I mentioned, getting STDS. Pretty sure people who have proper intentions with a partner do loove sex, but aren't that stupid or reckless enough to go raw therefore communicate about safety and pregnancy.

Personally for me, I'll admit my insecurity is a girl's sexual history because I need to know how responsible she was with previous partners especially if they were only casual hookups. Like, it's selfish of me, but hey I don't want get any STDS to damage my own health. If she was reckless and had unprotected sex without ever actually checking her self up for blood test, that's gonna be a big problem. But even if she did had some previous unprotected sex BUT, she often gets herself checked up by a doctor, that will be okay with me because, it tells me that she's well aware for her own health. I can explain further but all i can say for now

  • If the person gives sex in exchange for money (a definition of slut), it's wrong. Go do an honest job for money.

But if the person gives sex as a gesture of love or deep friendship, then God bless you. Have plenty of fun and enjoy life to the full 😘😘😘

    • Why is sex work not a honest job?

    • 1) it doesn't care if the person is in a committed related or married or not. This means it stands a chance to break a family or more. 2) many do sex work (include the sweet terms like "sugar babe" etc) just to get quick buck. Personally, I think getting an older person to help in education is not wrong, but not in sex where his family could be risked. Hence not "honest". 3) I did a comparison and found that an Engineer (I consider myself an Engjneer) can earn just as much an hour. But it takes hard work to reach there. Many chose sex work instead of studying Mathematics and Engineering. This I think is not good.

  • People like to judge others, it’s in our human nature. Even if someone slept with 200 people, as long as they are being safe and trying to prevent the spread of STIs, I really don’t see why anyone thinks it’s their business to shame people for it.

A lot of these people are religious and find it against their religion but even then, it’s still none of their business to judge people, which I might point out, is hypocritical.

Another reason people might do this is out of jealousy. They are not getting the attention that the so called “slut” is getting, so they have to shame that person and make it a bad thing.

  • It’s a very sexist term that people found acceptable. It’s been used way less in 2010s and 2020. But reality is , if a guy is gonna get laid, it’ll always be with a woman. You can’t have women not be sluts but yet be ok with guys having one night stands. IF there are whore men, there are whore women

  • I don't like being defined by the amount of people who have fucked me. However it is a bit of a turn on for me in the bed lol

    • Totally agree! Slut shaming is done by jealous people!

  • I am going to be a SWer, and i dont think there's anything wrong with that, but different people have very unique pov's, and they can be affected by their religion, culture, family etc. Some opinions are just woth us since forever...

    • With*

  • It's risky to be too promiscuous, and you could possibly damage other people too by taking that risk. It's more a matter of responsibility to me rather than a matter of good and evil.

In any case, I personally don't care much about promiscuous people and their lifestyle. I just choose not to be one myself.

  • Call me slut if you know I have had sex with many partners I won't mind. But calling me slut because I rejected you or because I talk openly about sexual things that's not acceptable

  • Nope

  • Not in my opinion. To me, a slut is someone in control of their sexuality and sexual destiny, and is not to be shamed or demeaned.

  • nothing too much off about it but most females aren't sluts some are some aren't they like it because they can or will sleep around with people they don't know causally thinking nothing of it because they love and enjoy it which is there right but to each there own it is better to do it safe but I guess being kinky to 😁😁

  • Nah. If you wanna be a slut, then be a slut. 🤷

  • No there isn't

  • Without agreeing on a definition first? That would be stupid. Some people think daring to have a one night stand makes someone a slut. Whatever.

  • Hm no to me , i love promiscous women , they are really experienced which logically make them really good in bed.

  • Yes. For one it spreads STDs and two it defiles a person morally eventually.

    • Exactly. These females writing above are kidding themselves. They don't have enough sense to keep their holiest vessel pure. If they don't respect themselves they should not expect anyone else to respect them.

    • @KrakenAttackin: I don't think they are lying though that they like to sleep around. Sleeping around is human sinful nature but once you cross a line its difficult to ever recover shame. You just don't care anymore after a certain point.

    • That may be true, but how can a woman expect the best of a man when she has given her best to many men before him.

  • Nope not one bit my wife is my favorite slut

  • Sluts are useful for sex, but otherwise not to be taken seriously. You can't turn a whore into a housewife.

    • well does sounds like destruction knowing the slightest they'd do it with a lot of guys it would be better to try it with one than many if u are gonna be kinky like that should be secretly with one person or if its causally at least do it safe.

  • No there is nothing wrong with it.
im slut and I don’t feel ashamed

    • And you wonder why you don't have a husband.

    • @KrakenAttackin no I don’t wonder that because I have husband

    • You have a husband, but you are a slut. Any man who puts up with that must be a real catch.

  • It's only bad if you're in a committed relationship.

  • It shows a person has no morals, loyalty to any one person, Probably can't be trusted , lack of standards , carrier of disease, sex addict (any addiction is unhealthy), and selfish (to the point , only I matter and my sexual urges matter). Sluts will screw their best friend's boyfriend or husband ruining the friend's marriage or relationship, but they don't care because they got what they wanted. They are constant attention seekers and always need a new guy to show interest towards them.

    • without Conservatives , no one would use their conscious and everyone would break the law. We hold this country together and we make people accountable for their outrageous behavior.

  • danish, swedish and norwegian ^^
and i still don't understand why people slut shame xD

  • It's just a word, I've been called a slut too many times to count. I love sex and have no problem having sex as often as possible.

  • I'd say don't be a slut if you're committed to a relationship. Otherwise, slut it up!
