First, I think it's a healthy and great sign of your acceptance of your natural body that you choose to keep your pubic hair. My girlfriend has let hers grow out into a full bush after her gyno advised her to stop shaving because of skin irritation and inflammation down there. And out of a show of solidarity with her I stopped shaving the areas down there I was shaving. Ehh, they might just want the look, feel lazy about it, whatever. I have a simple policy, I don't ask anyone to do something I'm unwilling to do myself. Shaving is something that once you start you have to keep doing, and deal with ingrown hairs, growing back out is itchy, prickly, and uncomfortable, shaving itself is uncomfortable. Honestly I don't know more so for guys from stretching our balls to shave, or women doing the same with labia, but I know for both any nicks down there just plain suck. If they say the hair is a problem, get with people it isn't a problem for if you want to grow it out, or just trim up some instead of shaving, I'll trim every now and then if I'm getting unruly down there. i imagine it isn't too pleasurable to the women I'm with to pick hair from between their teeth lol Either way, you can only really worry about doing the things that make you feel good about yourself, and being with people who do the same.
