I've been to two brothels.

The first was Lula Belle's in Hannibal, Missouri. Of course, when I went there in the early 2000s, it hadn't been a brothel for 20+ years, and was operating as a restaurant. But it was an active brothel for something like 80 years, and as it was Mark Twain's (aka Samuel Clemens') home town, he'd visited several times during his lifetime (unknown if he visited as a customer...). Anyway, the Buffalo wings were outstanding!

The second was in the late 2000s. I was installing satellite TV systems (DirecTV and Dish Network) during that time, and I got sent to a big old house in Oakland. That was full of very attractive girls around the age of 20-25, and pretty obviously Russian. At one point, I happened to notice a kind of schedule board with a bunch of female names on it. Anyway, I installed a couple of DirecTV receivers and I left, having only spoken to a middle-aged woman who had shown me around and made sure the rooms were empty of people when I was working in them. I'm not sure if they thought I didn't know what was going on there, or if they didn't care, but they offered no explanations, and I didn't ask for any.

So, that was my experiences. Probably not quite a steamy as you might have hoped, but oh well. LOL.

No but you certainly have me interested. Whenever I've employed the services of a working girl, it's been an escort. I do know a woman who worked there. She told me that she never came with her husband but did frequently with some of her clients. (She was a business client of mine or I would have offered a 3rd alternative). I've been to a few, but I'm also wired a bit differently. I'm not into paying for sex. I just don't get it, it's more of a turn off than anything. I have no prob with strip clubs or brothels in general. Like anything, it's more about who you're with & not so much where.

With that being said, I've had great times at these places w/o ever experiencing their services. Amazing people watching, great stories, and a wealth of knowledge.

I've been to a rub and tug, though I was honestly going in for a massage, it became pretty apparent when the massage was bad, my package started getting fondled and she asked for another 50 bucks, what the hell, you get a massage to relax anyway.

Another would be two strip clubs I worked at had a fair number of prostitutes working at them, one through poor management, and the other because the owners were just... stupid. Both got shut down, both were really gross, and I won't name either because I'm embarrassed just to have worked there.

When I was living in Vegas, honestly I was too focused on money to go to chicken ranch or anything like that.

There was one other one that is semi-legal, they would throw me money for customers from the strip clubs I turned their way, never bought any of the girls, but they had a nice spa area to relax in. Good arrangement, got potentially problematic customers out and to the goal they were looking for.

If I wasn't so tight-fisted with money I'd probably enjoy it lol

I've not been to a legal brothel as such, but I've been places where prostitution was widely accepted and it was an option in just about every bar/club.

I partook and would do so again. I was with friends and we met some really nice people and we all hung out for weeks it was great.

I can't help but feel... sad for the women. They say they don't want to be objectified... well... um... it just kinda looks like that.

Not judging others. No intentions, it would be a stretch for me, I'd have to get to know anyone first and then what's the point. I'd rather have a full relationship, a good one... and always have.

Nope. As much as I think that prostitution should be legal everywhere, I would never be able to use a hooker. When I think of a prostitute, all I imagine is a mass of swirling STD's. I know they use condoms. I know they get tested all the time. But that is the picture in my mind.
The fact that prostitution is illegal is just fonking stupid. I want sex, she is willing to have sex with me, but if I give her money for that sex it is illegal. Yet if I take her to dinner, spend $50 or $100, then she has sex with me for free, that is ok? how does any of that make sense.

Never been to one but my best friend went to one in Cyprus he told me it was a lot of fun they paid an entrance fee that came with two drinks and a lap dance but some of the group didn't want lap dances so he ended up getting 3.
But he described it as very professional not something super dirty and disease ridden.

I didn't even know there were actual brothels in the U. S.

But would I go to one? That's such a tricky question. It's hard to imagine a brothel in which anyone would like being there (be they customer or client). The idea of "women of negotiable hospitality" sounds good in theory, but it seems like it would be such an awkward thing to propose, even if they know that you know that they know why you are there, and vise versa. There is something clinical about the whole thing, but with the odd expectation that it not appear that way. If it was just that - essentially just a 10 minute express service to get it off my mind, I mean, I'd probably stop by each morning on the way to work.

But as it stands I'm sure I'd be disappointed. In the absence of anyone to play the supermodel bimbo act, I'd probably want something of a sexual philosopher. But that's such a self centered expectation and I know what I'd really get is a girl who understands the most expedient method for finishing the job, but doesn't get much out of that so would like to engage in some sort of act. Unfortunately, the odds of her preferring the same sort of act that I'd prefer is unlikely.

So, I dunno. Maybe if I was buzzed and near one I'd check it out. Or if I was exceptionally horny. Probably would need to be both, though..

The story goes around 1860 that my house was once brothel. During the civil war times where super tough and the original owners turned it into one. Thats what saved my farm I live on during the civil war.
