  I just feel like people that think women only get dressed up purely for the ‘validation’ of others are the reason why so many girls are either afraid of dressing up or feel ashamed if they do ! Because surely a girl can’t be dressing up just because she’s feeling herself !   Are you personally affected by someone who is fishing for compliments? Even if this girl was fishing , how does it affect you? Because apparently it affects you so much that you had to write a really awful comment under a question that had nothing even close to asking for that kind of response. YOUR COMMENTS AFFECT LIVES. Maybe she did want some compliments , maybe she felt like dressing up was the only way to get compliments ! That’s is a horrible thing to think about but so many girls feel like they have to dress like this to be accepted ! It’s a toxic environment for young women and you’re only adding to it.

  Why do you have to feel so angry about a woman you have no connection to though? Call me a snowflake or whatever but if you have a daughter one day and she looks at you dead in the eye and says she feels like she isn’t accepted no matter how hard she tries or how much makeup she puts on because there is always that one person dragging her down at least you can tell her to get a backbone , maybe you could also show her what you write under strangers post online as well.
