Guys, Is it a turn off to a guy for a first time hook up if a woman isn't shaved down there?

I hooked up with a guy very out of blue that I have been talking to off and on and last night we hooked up and there was alcohol involved on my end, not sure about his. But anyway typically I am completely shaved down there but because I wasn't expecting this and we've been in quaratine I hadn't shaved in maybe a week? So not a bush but now stubble either. I'm worried this guy thinks I don't shave... What's your opinion?

If I had been that guy, I would have assumed that the situation was exactly what you describe it as: you normally shaved, but with the virus, you weren't expecting anything and hadn't given it your normal amount of attention. And it wouldn't be the first time I've had that happen.

And when it's happened to me, the girl usually says exactly that: "I normally shave, but wasn't expecting any fun, and had let it go. Next time, it will be bare."

Most guys do the same thing with their beards - even if they normally shave every day, if they're off work for a few days, they might skip shaving for a few days - so most guys will understand and not hold it against you in any way.

It can be. It depends on personal preference but also on what you are planning on doing. If there is foreplay and he goes down to a well taken care of lawn it will be a pleasant surprise and says a lot about thier partner as a person. But if he was to go down and sees something like off of scary movie 2, then that may be a deal breaker. In my personal opinion it's better to play it safe then sorry. There are also some guys that honestly prefer no shaving at all. But that can all be discovered later.

I would be straight up and tell him. Meaning why u haven't shaved lately. Cause of the quartine and u didn't expect 2 find someone out of the blue. If he can't accept that reason. Then don't worry about him. Cause i have found out. That most girls/women do go periods of time without shaving.
