Why are men so proud to have a penis? What exactly makes you tak pride in it?

Typically, I don't think of my penis in those terms. However, I voted "

The fact that we can penetrate a woman and impregnate her." It is an incredible feeling that I am sharing myself with my girlfriend, entering her and putting my seed in her. Suffice to say that evolution has made that an instinctive reaction and I think of it in terms of giving myself to my girlfriend - and her giving herself to me - and not so much about my penis.

That said, I am average length and width - albeit more grower than shower - and am uncircumcised. The first time my girlfriend - of 14 years and three children together - saw me in all my glory was not when we were about to have sex, but we were changing into swimsuits at a beach party.

She knew what an uncut penis looked like but had never seen one "up close and personal," so to speak. So she happened to look over at me - I still joke with her, "Yeah, sure, you just happened to look over at me..." - and she blurted out, "That is SO hot!!!"

What guy does not want to hear THAT about his manhood? From that point on, I did the male thing and I "displayed" to her whenever... well... you know. (Don't blame me, evolution made guys that way.)

Anyhow, there is something pretty amazing about feeling myself inside the woman I love - or in the past just wanted to "mate" with - and knowing that she is giving herself to me to become pregnant and carry my child. It feels good and it is pretty amazing.

Though in total fairness, I give my girlfriend more of the credit as a general rule than I do my penis. Though when she sees me on display and says to me something like, "I want to you be inside me..." - and she has said that in various ways more than a few times, I think she knows it turns me on - okay I admit it, there is a certain feeling of male pride that creeps in.

Hey, it is part of why we males get erections. Our prehistoric ancestors were displaying to attract females to mate with. So why stop what works?

"There are no dumb questions." is somewhat erroneous.

The first thing that popped into my mind, seeing the word "own" was...
"That it's bought and paid for!"
Now, we're proud of a paid off house or car, because it usually took effort to get one.

But no, I've had the same penis since BEFORE birth and it was given to me.
If you take that much pride in your penis, you probably need to get a life.

The only pride I feel is the superficial pride of being bigger than the average male.
The other thing is the ease in achieving an orgasm, the erogenous zone is the whole dick, and to make it easier to find, if you're a grower, it becomes bigger.

The other pros of having a dick compared to a pussy is I don't get cramps every months, or mood swings.
