Sex before or after marriage?

Does anyone still wait till marriage or does the idea throw you off? I've been told that i should wait till marriage since i can remember and everytime o have a boyfriend it Slides back into my mind. The idea of loosing someone because they already had sex makes me really anxious.

Sex is only a small and less important factor in a marriage or between 2 people that care for each other.

At age 16, I would anyway recommend you wait another 2 or 3 years before you even start thinking of sex. There are so many dangers associated with it, starting with STD/STI, disappointments or the fact that a girl is misused by guys that just want to add yet another victim or body count to their long list.

What is sex? A few muscular contractions and spasms and usually, it is over in about 3 to 4 minutes. It is not really worth wasting your virginity just to be like all the others. You are special because you still have it. Keep it for the one that deserves it and not because you have the feeling that you need to lose it. Don't be a sheep that follows the others and don't succumb to group/peer pressure.

Thank you so much.. My friends already did have sex and they try pushing me towards it but knowing that there are other aspects and that there is no Rush makes me feel more safe in my decision of waiting☺️

The one bad thing about waiting to have sex until you're married, is what if you end up with someone you're not sexually compatible with? Like one person has a way higher libido than the other, or one person is into a bunch of kinky things that the other isn't into? Or the husbands penis is too big for the wife?

Sexual incompatibility is a real thing that can ruin relationships. Wouldn't that suck to end up married to someone that you're not sexually compatible with?

You could always have a discussion of such things before you get married. I mean you should be discussing important life issues before you get married to determine if you are compatible. So why wouldn't you discuss this one?

When I had drivers ed we had an extensive discussion of how to operate the car, the rules of the road, and helpful driving tips. So that when we got to the driving part it was relatively easy and we only had to make small adjustments as we started driving.

Well if I found the right one, I wouldn't be comparing her to the other women I've slept with. I would just enjoy being with her and the experience. Women tend to have more sexual partners than men do. I think you'll be okay. I wouldn't worry about that.
