Does circumcision make a guy less sensitive/increase his sexual stamina?

I am circumcised, but does that mean that I am not going to be able to climax/cum at all?

  • Does circumcision make a guy less sensitive/increase his sexual stamina?

There are a few factors involved in this- The tip of the foreskin - the ridged band - is very sensitive, and is always removed in circumcision. The inner foreskin is also very sensitive, and depending on the style of cut this can be almost all maintained (a very high circumcision) or all removed (a very low circumcision). The frenulum is another highly sensitive part of the penis that is sometimes removed, and sometimes retained in circumcisions. Different circumcisions also remove different amounts of skin, resulting in some skin bunching up against the glans while flaccid in loose circumcisions, which can keep the corona of the glans more sensitive than if you have a circumcision that is tight enough to keep skin from bunching up against the glans.

So, a high and loose circumcision with the frenulum retained will have more sensitivity than a low and tight circumcision with the frenulum removed. Because the duration of time to orgasm isn't entirely linked to the amount of sensitivity, it usually doesn't affect the ability to orgasm much in younger men, who have less of a problem getting off in general, but in older men it can cause problems being able to reach orgasm as more stimulation is required for orgasm as you age. That being said, even if reaching orgasm isn't an issue for a circumcised man, the pleasure he receives during the process of reaching orgasm can be significantly lessened, especially in low circumcisions.

What style of circumcision do you have, if you don't mind me asking? Do you still have your frenulum? This will help me explain better how your sensitivity is affected.

    • Are the pictures depicting the penis erect? If so, it looks like a normal circumcision. If you do not mind me asking, how big are you, and are you circumcised?

    • In that diagram, the penises are erect. You've got a bit of inner foreskin left so that is good for sensitivity. Do you know if they left your frenulum intact when they cut you? I was circumcised, high and tight, but I've restored my foreskin. No ridged band and only a partial frenulum, but it's been a vast improvement in sensitivity.

    • I guess, but I cannot cum from blowjobs, unfortunately. How big are you, if you do not mind me asking?

  • Circumcision statistically removes 75-80% of the sensation of the penis, leaving the glans as the primary source. The scar line will also be sensitive, or any frenulum remna. ts (if you're lucky).

Over time, the glans dries out and becomes less sensitive, as it's meant to be protected. Also, one cannot rule out potential nerve damage from the circ itself. This happens more when it's performed as an infant.

Studies are available regarding sensitivity, and that is where the 75-80% sensation loss comes from. The type of sensitivity lost is fine touch, temperature, and tugging, as the foreskin has as many nerves as all ten fingertips. The glans has deep sensation nerves, being slightly more sensitive than the heel of the foot according to studies.

Some guys who were circ'd in adulthood described the difference as going from color to black and white site, with significant loss of sensation. Others are fine. Personally, my experiences are that it's damaging and makes for bad sex.

As for hygeine, that's bunk. Less smegma, sure, but that's easily washed in a shower. Besides, does being cut remove the need to wash? No it doesn't. I'll further that by noting all propaganda for female circumcision cites the same claims. Oh, and the US is the only country that likes to cut for nonreligious reasons. Some countries have banned it.

Elephant in the hospital is a good youtube video to watch for more info. Sorry to hear about your fear, but it's worth learning about. Foreskin "restoration" exists to slowly stretch the skin to re-cover the glans, which helps with sensation.
