PC of course!
It does everything I need it to do to survive: gaming, check my emails and messages, message people on apps, watch videos/tv, and play music.
Everything else is practical, but I can live without them. In addition, eventually most of the other items listed become obsolete, break, or have to be updated with newer models.
Whereas if you build your own PC, you can just update certain parts every 3-5 years (eg: video card, ram, cpu, etc) and viola! You have a good investment.
Properly a tablet as my hands and fingers are so long I'd easily can use a tablet as an phone too, we have an iPad mini only 7" so that's not much different from my 6"5 Huawei so I'd get both in a tsblet
Voted PC because
1) I'm a web Master hence PC is easier to write web Pages.
2) I use PC for my career and business (don't ask. It's a long story.)
3) currently my PC has 4 screen, including a 51" TV as screen and a 21" standing portrait. Hence you can guess how much I get entertained from it outside work.
Hence I can go without sex toy (my hand and girlfriend are good enough 😄) or mobile, but I cannot go without PC.
Oh forgot, got a sound bar (look closely below the TV) and sub-woofer below the table. Hence it's beyond a home-theatre style Developers' PC. Yes, be very envious LOL!
Can I get a sex robot with built in phone and laptop? If so, I'll get that...
Assuming the device would be constantly upgraded to latest model, I would go with desktop PC - I'm fine with a dumb-phone as long as it can text. and I can use a zune or something.

Their battery last longer than smartphones and perhaps they're going to be more useful than smartphones in the future. People who choose smart watchs probably thought it as a investment to future.

It's a bit surprising to see the statistics. Pc/desktop isn't mobile, how are gonna use it even if you are able to be able to build a work around to call from your pc...
They're probably introverts or anti-social hardcore gamers.
I am not exactly the biggest person in call (either) but a phone/number almost seems necessary, even for internet verifications and accounts.

Why not choose laptop instead? A good laptop can do everything a pc does. And it's easier to carry with.
Life cycle, PC can last more than laptops and also you can upgrade as you want larger screen
