Most? No.
I think it appears that way to some because of 1. lesbian porn viewing stats that were widely publicized, and 2. more accounts of girls experimenting sexually, switching between guys and girls. And there is more acceptance of homosexuality and bisexuality now, for sure, so more people are free to be themselves, be open, but the illusion of more bisexuality is also explained by:
Girls in general are more touchy feely with each other, much more so guys are. This is affection, and not necessarily leading to something more. Even kisses between girls can mean very literal but brief experimentation.
There are some accounts of girls feeling unsatisfied with their relationships with younger guys, so they try out their girlfriends, but for many this ends up being a temporary phase during the college years.
Some girls like watching lesbian porn to check out their bodies and compare themselves, and learn how to move and act during sex.
Some supposedly female accounts on porn sites are males spoofing, so that they can chat from the other perspective. I've also heard about couples of one household sexting with others users, sharing one account, doing this.

Most, is the key word here. Breaking it down if you were to do a completely blind sample of ALL adults , that is male and female, I would bet that 80-85% would experiment with their gender. Would they like it and have additional experiences, is a different question. But as sexual beings, we all desire to be touched and to touch. It might be out of being lonely, or hedonistic impulse but the desire is still there. Use the example, there are two people on an island, be it two men or two women, after a few weeks of being together you'll want that touch, and you will act on your desire. Look at the prison population, you get a 15 year sentence, your 100% straight after a few months your cell mate isn't so bad, and now you have had a bisexual experience.
