  • I don’t know if I had a hymen to begin with, but I know that it used to feel different to insert tampons etc.
I think it ripped/tore for the first time when I was around 9-10 and in the woods with school (we did that every week). We were playing a game that involved fighting with large wooden sticks and obviously everyone was very hyped for that, so we jumped over rocks etc and I think it ripped in the process.
I bled a little but only started my period years later, when I was 12. I started using tampons right away (never used pads) and switched to menstrual cups (they’re about as wide as a penis would be) a year or two in. That’s why I don’t think this had anything to do with my period whatsoever; it could’ve only been my hymen tearing a little.

I don’t think I’m loose, I just feel like my vagina can do anything I want it to do. I’ve never had sex and I hate fingering myself because I don’t like the sensation at all, I hope that helps.
I won’t bleed when I have sex for the first time, it’s a complete myth that this is normal for all girls; I had excellent sexual education in middle school and even in elementary school. We studied what the hymen can look like (full cover, which is very rare like @kaylaS91 already said, no hymen at all, one hole or more than one hole (these holes can also be too small to pass a tampon through them)) and I hate that so many guys still expect girls to bleed during their first time lol. That’s just an outdated view of virginity.

    • so its rarer for women to have a hymen or rare for girls to bleed during the first time? or both? 🤔

    • I think most girls have a hymen, but it’s not like it has the consistency of a piece of cloth that rips when you want to move past it. Especially as you get older, it will get softer, and when you’re aroused it’s usually more stretchy as well. Hence I think it’s stupid to expect girls to bleed when they have sex for the first time. They still MAY bleed. But in general, it’s probably rarer than men expect.

    • I‘m just trying to say that there are girls like me out there who aren’t crazily trying to „conserve“ their hymen - some girls don’t use tampons etc (although these don’t typically „break“ a hymen) and to me, that’s bizarre because it means reducing your life quality for a guy lol.

  • Did I pop my own? Lol no. But the first time I had sex didn't either. We didn't know what we were doing. I certainly wasn't in love. He was my boyfriend. We had sex many times. My mom ended up taking me to the gyn to see if I had sex. Of course all she could answer is if the hymen was still in tact, and it was. It wasn't until my second guy. Which I did like. I rode him. He was larger. And it happened. I knew it happened and there was visual evidence. And the times after, everything felt different.

    • interesting 😂👌🏼

  • The hymen is only 'in tact' for like... 1% of the female population, when there's an abnormally thick hymen, or the opening in it is too small for penetration. If I were to fall into that small amount of women, then I'd have to go to see a doctor to surgically make/widen the opening. I wouldn't be able to do it by myself.

    • interesting information kayla, how common are the hymen problems tho that you need surgery? 🤔

    • Less than 1 in 1000 girls will need surgery to make an incision in their hymen in order for their menstrual blood to ‘escape’, for lack of a better word.

    • i see, well i have a dick so I don't know and i didn't pay attention in class if they even explained this so ill take your word on it kayla, you seem more informed on it anyways so thanks 🤗😁

  • The hymen thing is a myth 🤯 But if you're asking if girls mastabate before they ever have sex, then more will have than will openly admit it because for some reason it's more taboo for women.

    • i dont think the hymen is a myth, what would explain that some women bleed after their first intercourse

    • The hymen is a very thin piece of tissue that wears down naturally over time even without penetration. It's not like a piece of cling film you have to break to get past. Small tears in the vaginal wall can cause bleeding even if it's not your first time.

    • alright sounds legit 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • I did!!!

  • Nah a guy that fingered me to rough popped it😣

  • I'm not sure. I masturbated long before I had sex but it was painful the first time I did. That could have been a few other factors as well though.

    • i dont think thats it lol

    • I never felt pain prior to sex. But I don't believe that was it either.

  • Nope, still a virgin

  • ... umm... no

  • I think my hymen is still intact

    • you think, i like those odds 😂

    • I mean how should I know for sure😂😂

    • thats true, just wait and flip the coin i guess lol
