Why do weird guys like gingers?

I have auburn curly hair and refer to myelf as a half-ginger because I have the stereotypical ginger features besides dark eyes and eyebrows. My biological dad was a ginger but my biological mom is native American and european. I'm also into girls and guys and when girls like me they don't care about me being ginger, yeah they think my hairs pretty but they don't have a specific thing for gingers When it comes to guys they either don't like me because they say they aren't into gingers or really like me and obsess over me because they have a ginger fetish. Why is it like that and will any guy ever like me not based on my coloration?

I like gingers, but I don't obsess over it. My sister is a ginger so that might be why. Though I am pretty sure that I quality as weird in different ways.

Red hair is rare and is seen as exotic. Red haired women especially get A LOT of compliments, and they know it.

I think lots of guys will like you for who you are. You should be glad you have such a desired trait. Most guys are into red heads because they tend to be adventurous and open minded , and a little more on the wild side.

It’s not because they like the hair color but a lot seem to be more turned on by it and view it more in a sexual way. It happens to women with light blonde hair too but mainly girls with red hair. I just don’t know why it’s either very sexualized or repulsive.

Because they say it, they will legit text me (usually guys in my class) and we start texting back in forth a bit then bring up they thought I was cute so they liked me and they have a thing for gingers then get really perverted about it
