  • You are kidding right?

    Quarterback.

In most systems, the burden is on the Quarterback to get the team into the right play and to make the correct decisions from play to play. In this era, quarterbacks have to athletically gifted, smart, think on their feet with chaos going on all around them.

And when the defense knows you have to throw the ball, it becomes exponentially worse. You are going back to pass, there are sight adjustments, hot reads for blitzes, going from your primary read to secondary and tertiary targets. Its just crazy. Then if you and the receive are not on the same page, its your fault.

The only good thing for QBs is that we are in the era of the monster receiver. So someone like Calvin Johnson can bail you out and make you look good, even if you missed him by 8 feet.

    • No I am not kidding. I think it's safety or cornerback. The breed of football today is players are so fast and athletic, it is very difficult to cover receivers like you mention. How does a 5'11" corner cover a 6'5" receiver who is tall, lanky, and fast? Very hard in man coverage.

    • Especially with all the rules, can't touch a receiver after 5 yards. It's not like football in the 70s or 80s where the defender could do whatever they wanted to the receiver as long as the ball was not in the air.

    • Hey, you have to be physically gifted, but in most defenses the safety or cornerback don't even make the calls. That is usually done by the middle linebacker. So how much thinking is going into it. Lawrence Taylor would make the calls on defense for the Giants back in the day with Harry Carson. One of the most incredible things he said was, he had to know where everyone on the defense was going to be. He had to know what their responsibility was. The only thing he could not tell you was where he was going to be and/or what he was going to do.

  • Depends on your body type I think. Someone big and stalky would make a good defense/offense tackle. Somebody thin fast and muscular like a cheetah and lion mixed You know someone with that kind of muscle build and bone structure would make a good middle line backer. Skinny fast people good receivers. Hardest and most important on the team? Pretty obvious that be quarter back. Then on defense probably middle line backer. Everything else is important to don't get me wrong just not as important. And you'd have to be wayy above average to even be considered playing. Or else they should just find somebody else.

  • QB. It calls for the greatest combination of athletic, thinking and decision making skills.

  • Quarterback without a doubt. The quarterback has to know and process more information in real time (in game situations this is measured in mere seconds or even fractions of seconds) than any other player on the field.

  • Defensive back you got to be real fast to ccover your man or he can burn you for a touchdown 6 points

    • Yes, that is my opinion too! Cover the man, pay attention to the ball, and not get burned, especially in man coverage!

    • Right

  • left tackle

it's the blindspot most of the time, so, you need a good left tackle, otherwise the pass rusher will get right by him and sack

  • I don’t follow American football

  • That is should be least 1 hour game...
