Received this as a gift (they browsed my amazon browsing history 🤓) Where in the world can I wear this other than to a brothel , or is that it😕?

Of course I ♥️ it stylistically.. That is why I was dying it months ago.

The _reason_ I never bought it is bc it’s 💯 not practical. Certainly was a surprise. I don’t know what to do with it, honestly.

  • I have so many questions. They can be summed up with who and why did someone gift you this?

    Also this would make for a poor brothel attire it's way too soirée for that. Granted you'll have to be owner of a gothic manor and host the soirée yourself but it's definitely classy enough not to be worn as a casual outfit.

    Also it's very Victorian England in a way.

  • I freaking love those. And you can wear it anywhere in this virus-stricken world. Have you seen all the people dressing up to walk to their mail boxes or go to the grocery store? People are dressing up more in casual everyday situations than ever before so I say put it on next time you'll be around people and give them something to talk about.

  • cosplay at a comic convention. You can wear literally anything.

    Halloween costume would work as well.

    Aside from that, its super sexy. So just surprising your SO at the door with it is always fun times too.

  • If we were anywhere near each other, geographically, I would LOVE, LOVE, to make some amazing monochrome images of you, wearing that, juxtaposed with several different backgrounds!!
    OMG, You could rock the scene, and the light and shadow of monochrome, on film, like REAL film!
    How much fun would it be to develop the film, and then print the images, old-fashioned, maybe, with the sepia tones (the brownish ones that look old, and really amazing!), like 'old-fashioned'?
    Real-life, though, that is probably really uncomfortably tight and itchy, with all the lacy bits!

    • @vivant when I was really interested in the Monochrome film, in college, I let my 'model' choose things that were uniquely "HER" as I wanted the images to be somewhat like portraits, and eliciting a sense of "I know her" from just seeing the image! Besides, I really know only a little, about fashion, and next to nothing on accessories!! :) With those two, I would think a sheer, skin-toned nylon, no print, or details, so that it doesn't distract from the dress. With some of the more 'plain' or solid color tops, and skirts, I would say a nice, lacy-detailed nylons, or even just long, old-fashioned stockings, would be a much better pairing. Depends on where you want people to look, when they see you!! Personally, I always look for her smile, to see if she is really loving the outfit, before checking out the details of what she is wearing. (Also, I am one of those few guys that cares more about her, than what she wears!!)

  • Vivant I don't think you need to wear it seeking employment at a brothel. So we're just gonna nix that from the start. But wouldn't it be fun to wear to a Halloween party? When people ask "What are you dressed as?" you could say you're one of those saloon girls from the Old West. But wait. . . those saloon girls were sometimes the madams for the upstairs rooms right?
