How many women just turn lesbian because they’re over men?

  • Because sometimes women care more about the emotions connection and being treated with an understanding of it... where as men can be very distant... I guess women with very bad or heartbreaking experiences that have never really had a bias against being lesbian or gay will begin to give women a chance... where as men are more concerned about visual stimulation and only go aster what they are physically attracted to and making that a priority they will never go gay because of bad experiences with women simply because if he is straight he can never get there with a guy... in the sexual and attraction stage... and for women emotional depth and connection as well as personally and being treated kindly and being understand helps to attract then to a person more...

  • Like a lot of people mentioned you don't switch to full on lesbian, it doesn't work like that.
    She most probably was bisexual all along.
    I don't think also her phase with girls is permanent. She just had a bad experience, she will get over it eventually when she comes back to her reasons. Because obviously not all men are bad.
    Also nthng wrong to be in a relationship with girls, but it's wrong to go through it as an escape from smthng else.
    If she is hurting in general, it's better to just be single and work on getting her to feel better instead of entering a relationship for the wrong reasons.

  • Most straight guys are NEVER over women. Even when I am not horny, I enjoy talking with and looking at women.
    How are you dealing with the situation with your daughter?
    Some on here say that you do not "turn" lesbian. I knew one woman who definitely did. She had NO interest in women. But she got pregnant by her guy. When she went into labor, he dropped her at the hospital and left. The hospital was backed up in maternity, so she was left on a gurney in the hall. Lots of pain, little attention or pain meds, then had the child with no support and in such a mood that the meds did little to kill the pain. She came out of that still okay with men as acquaintances, but could not stand to be intimate with one.

    • I’m all good with it, her last boyfriend pretty much kidnapped her at knife point and threatened to kill her and her child if she broke up with him.. this is her third guy in a row who has struggled with emotional Control to the point of threatening violence against her or themselves. She is just too scared to be with a guy right now.

    • Very similar situations. She has not changed to sexually wanting women so much as she is scared to death of men. If only she had better sense at choosing them.

  • It seems in today's society every girl is bi curious if not completely bi and given the chance (they often are) she gets to try out women and somehow it's perfectly acceptable for everyone.
    So a bad experience with guys could make a girl decide she'll only date women.
    It's not "turning lesbian" you can't really "turn" she'll still be physically attracted to men just won't act on it and stick to the couchie.
    Although if you ask me she just had the wrong kind of men all her life there are odds she meets a guy that's different and reconsider her choice.

  • I think I could do it, female body is great and a lot of women are a lot kinder and caring than many guys I have met and especially seen online cause they are safe behind their screens but there are good guys out there who would love you with all of their heart but it seems like there are becoming fewer and fewer these days as half of them have joined their little women hating online groups and YouTube channels so they treat women like second class citizens

  • I think that heterosexual men are repulsed by the idea of engaging in any homosexual act while heterosexual women simply prefer sex with men. It's easier to encourage women to have an initial lesbian experience than it is to convince a guy to try another man.

  • I've turned more than one women to life without men, because I was an asshole in my younger days. At least that how it seems from the relationship experiences of my exes. I'm incredibly sorry for that, and wish a happy and fulfilling sex life for all.

  • Maybe your daughter always had same-sex attraction but thought "I'm not gay" and dated men but then realized that she wasn't into guys, she was into women after all. And that happens with men too -- they feel a same-sex attraction but think "I'm not gay" and then later realize "Oh, yeah, I really am gay."

  • Thank you! Whenever you talk to lesbians they get angry and scoff at the thought that women can be turned into lesbians. But they can! I know a few who have.

    My guess is it's because women are generally more emotional than men.
    It's kind of expected that guys tend to their emotions not the orher way around.
    In simple terms, guys are used to gving love, not recieving it. And women are used to recieving love and are more dependent on it.
