I can't vote either way, really. If my boyfriend's roommates are home, then we will likely have the TV on or music on just in case. But, I typically don't like to. I get off on verbal communication, like hearing that it feels good, or calling me a good girl, things like that, so music or TV can really drown stuff like that out.
Also, as a person who really vibes with music, if the tempo changes, my tempo's gonna mimic it. So, I'm not sure it's really a great idea lol
trust me get your boyfriend to mimic the beat of the song with his thrusts it makes it so much nicer
