    I had to message a woman once late at night on social media. She accidentally turned on a live video mode. I saw that and thought maybe she was saying "Hi" to friends. Instead I see she wasn't in the view of the cam but since her computer was on a desk in the master bedroom, all I could see is her bedroom.     I don't even know WHAT would go through someone's mind to do this in a freaking BUSINESS-MEETING! You can't possibly focus on the topics at hand (esp. if/when numbers are involved) while doing that. Any escaped sounds of whatever type could betray the sideline-processes being done and could demolish workplace-reputation & -credibility. Risk suddenly having to resign‽ That's a 'HELL' to the 'NO！！！' from me.

    • It seems like he thought he had exited the meeting.

    • That's 1 of the risks of laptops with cameras. There is a reason computer-specialists tape (or cover with anythings else) the camera-hole unless being used. Once done, cover again immediately after. But even then, he should have ensured the video-conferencing app was completely terminated. He might not have been very knowledgeable on how to use his device.
