Just like my question stated above, if I am giving a blow job and I taste the precum does that mean its going well or does it happen even if its not great or mediocre?

I am newer to blow jobs and am with a new partner. The few times I've done it with him it is just for a few minutes as foreplay before sex so I have no idea if I would be able to completely get him off that way. I know I taste the precum during it and am just curious if that means it's actually good (he acts like he really enjoys it) or if it's going to happen no matter how good it is?

Don't try to fake it. Just open your mouth as wide as you can and slowly start down. Tell him you want to go deep but that you are afraid of hurting him with your teeth. He may well say don't worry about it. Just start down slowly and wait for him to ask you to stop and keep going until then. Hopefully, you'll be surprised by how far you can go. Also, Google for exercises to learn to open your mouth wider.

Men mainly produce pre-cum when their arousal levels are heightened. If he is producing pre-cum because you're giving him head, then you are contributing to raising his arousal levels. If you are raising his arousal levels, then he is enjoying it to some degree. Therefore, you're very likely to be doing a good job. If the head you were giving wasn't too satisfying, he would likely get softer and less aroused. However, just because you contribute to raising his arousal levels doesn't mean that you can't always do a better job. You can use better techniques and make the pre-cum appear quicker. It's a natural reaction. Some guys get a lot of pre-cum as in enough to soak his underpants if he still has them on. I don't get hardly any pre-cum and never have. As far as thick and long goes just remember the penis head and the first inch or two below the penis head have the most nerve endings, that and they area on the back side of the penis just below the head. Concentrate on those areas and you'll definitely be doing a good job!
