Why are people who chose to remain virgin respected but the involuntary ones are made fun of?

That's so rude to make fun of someone else's life circumstances in my opinion.
Why do people respect those who are virgins by choice (priests, nuns, monks etc) but people who are virgin out of their will are shunned and made fun of. Not everyone is born equal or created equal. In my opinion it is really rude to make fun of those people and their unfortunate lives
Most virgins (out of choice) either are severely physically impaired or lack social skills and may be autistic or aspies. Making fun of someone who is a virgin but doesn't want to be like that is like making fun of someone who can't walk but desperately wishes to.
I'm a virgin myself and I hate it that I'm gonna have to remain like this forever.. I don't want just to have sex of course because I too want to be loved but from the looks of it it likely is never going to happen. I'm not even depressed anymore about it. I just wish I had the power to change my fate. If selling your soul to the devil would work it give it up for a good life just like everyone else..
I'm not an incel freak and I would never associate myself with those hate spewing machines because I don't hate girls or anything.
If only I was born normal just like every other guy...

  • a virgin over 19 years old is not something I respect. The idea that sex and virginity is special completely escapes me. I don't believe in this as purity, or innocence, or dedicated. To me, these are women who think losing their virginity is a big deal, yet any older woman never seems to reminisce about later. so some 19 year old hottie I'm interested tells me she's a virgin, I think she's a prude, stuck up, and horrible in bed. Unpopular opinion here, I think.

  • You can find a girl. It won't be easy but it can happen. How do I know? I did, and it took me 27 years to do so. If, like me, you are on the spectrum, I would recommend seeing if there is a social group for people like you in your ccommunity. I found my girlfriend through one, as did a surprising number of other members.

As for the answer to your question, choice. Those who don't choose to be virgins can't make that decision about themselves.

  • Get rid of social pressure, nobody has to know what’s going on in your private life unless you talk about it, it’s so overrated, it’s nothing special just wait for your time

    • No of course no one knows about it. It's something I keep to myself. I'm. just mad at myself.. I don't know what to wait about.

    • Why are you mad at yourself? It’s actually a vicious circle, the more you’re mad the less confidence you have and the less likely you’ll be able to build something with someone... instead focus on your self-development, culture, books, languages, trips, live things and the more you live things the more stories you’ll have to tell and the more open minded you’ll be etc.. Just be yourself, it’s so easy to get there but at the same time its not because you keep overthinking and another advice try to quit masturbation in case you’re into it because it takes all your energy and makes you kind of numb, take your life in your hands

    • But I'm retarded

  • It's because you are trying to do something that lots of other people have succeeded at. The logic is "I could do it, so why can't you?"

  • I don't think a lot of people do this by choice. I think people make this choice because they find it difficult to take the steps necessary to make it happen. If they held themselves accountable and took the steps to make the changes necessary, they'd get laid like everyone else.
Secondly, it's no secret that religious leaders are not virgins.
