Should I feel self conscious about my grooming decisions with my pubic hair?

So long story short some friends and I were discussing how one friend was getting a Brazilian wax (which she said was excruciatingly painful). I mentioned that I had tried shaving it all off before and decided that I preferred a landing strip instead of being completely bare because I just like the way it looks on me personally. She then told me that we should all get Brazilians together and that it was weird for me to have a landing strip. She said that it was “odd” at least twice. That kinda hurt. 😞

Honestly as last as you keep it short and tidy and don't have a boyfriend that wants anything else I really don't see why you should change that.
A landing strip is a good compromise between nothing and full bush.
I personally *prefer* the vagina itself to be 100% bald.
But I'm not your boyfriend and it's just a preference.
So keep that hair if you want it.

That said, it sounds like she just wants a event out of it.
You all doing it together and she's trying to get you all onboard with that.

There's nothing weird about a landing strip. My girlfriend had a landing strip a couple of times. I liked it. It looks more mature than fully shaved. She also likes it. If she shaves (usually she doesn't), she prefers a landing strip over bald.

I feel ya! I had one friend in high school, who was always giving me shit about my bush, and telling me to trim it. It's best not to discuss these sorts of things. Getting waxed together, that's kind of weird, don't you think? If yo want a landing strip, do a landing strip. Why do your friends care so much about what your puss looks like?
