Is the man's attraction towards female body parts influenced by his ego?

I'm originally from the Dominican Republic and average women there look like the woman in the pic above.

big booties are extremely glorify down there, it is what men there consider attractive. I can't say I'm any different but for odd reason I've always been more of a boobs guy. as far as I remember I think I been attracted to boobs way before I knew what sexual attraction was.

it wasn't until I came across porn that I realize why I been attracted to boobs so much. it seems like boobs are more fun during sex and I can write a whole book on why I think this but I bet I will get crucified here if I go into full details. till then I always wondered why so many men from where I'm from or those who follow similar culture as me do not see it this way. could this be more of an ego cultural thing over actual sexual attraction?

My working theory is that the mother has a strong influence on her son's favored secondary sex characteristics, either because he genetically inherits the sexual preferences from the father, maternal grandfather, etc. or because early exposure to the mother's body imprints into your infant psyche an emotional association between your source of emotional respite, i. e. your mother, and her salient/distinguishing physical features!

not saying I disagree but my mom does not have big boobs and a lot of the women I'm find attractive look nothing like my mom. however I did get teased a lot growing up whenever I used to check women's boobs whether in RL or in a picture. I never got teased about asses so I guess this gave me the perception that boobs are sexual parts and asses are just asses

It's definitely a cultural thing. That's for sure.
So why would you assume that it might be eco-driven? Either for boobs or for booty? The only thing I could think might be ego-driven is if someone was aiming for girls with exaggerated features because that's what he thought he deserved. For example, Kanye West said that he always went for girls like that because he was a rapper, and he thought that's what rappers were supposed to do. He still said he loves Kim, but that was one of his original reasons for going after her. So I can see ego in that case, but not in the case of the Dominican republic focus on butts

I think it's partly cultural, partly biological. Don't be surprised when other people have different preferences from yours. It's actually good. It's so that there's not as much competition over prospective mates with just one body type.
