Do you think its inappropriate or offensive for a Christian to asks sexual questions on social media?

I mean God created sex not the devil, so I don't see the big deal in sexual questions or talk. The Bible has a whole book dedicated to sex in poetry written form.

  • Appropriate and unoffensive. Of all places, particularly GAG is a place where, particularly, girls can come and safely be as open as they want to be. It can dispel a lot of mystery and disinformation. I get it that observant Christians want to abstain from (at least) intercourse until marriage. But The Creator gave us sex for His good reasons:

    Procreation
Gen. 1:28, "And God blessed them; and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'"

    Intimacy
Song 1:13, "My beloved is to me a pouch of myrrh which lies all night between my breasts."
Song 2:3, "Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, and his fruit was sweet to my taste."
Song 2:6, "Let his left hand be under my head and his right hand embrace me."
Song 4:5, "Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, which feed among the lilies."

    Companionship
Song 3:1, "On my bed night after night I sought him whom my soul loves..."

    Physical Pleasure
Song 1:2, "May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine.

Within the context of a marital relationship, Christians, as much as anyone else, should want to know how to show love to their spouses. And (my interpretation) within marriage, there are no restrictions between husbands and wives where there is no physical harm.

  • It's always good to have a clear picture about anything. Be it Christianity, Islam, Judaism or Hindusim when ever you have doubt about anything you have the right to know. It's made for human by God and if we don't know about it then how will we sustain. If this is the logic then we should not be having any doctor, lectures, therapists etc. It's the morality created by human in order to restrict from such

    • You need some brainwashing, girl. 🧼🧼

    • I am glad she feels able to express her sexuality openly as a Christian on GaG. It’s much more challenging for her to express than it is for us guys, so no brainwashing needed. You go girl!

  • Go for it amigo.

  • I agree with you

  • Sex is an exciting topic and a gift from God. He wants us to enjoy sex and I see nothing wrong with discussing it. Frankly as Christians there is a stereotype that it’s less sexy or fun to Worship God and follow Jesus.. that’s sad.

    • You need to get your doctrine straight because the things you believe isn't what a born again Bible Christian believes. Adam and Eve are fictional characters? What's wrong with you?

    • I’m just answering your question. I’d rather work with you to celebrate God than highlight details in our personal beliefs. Satin is alive and well and takes joy when Christians fight. Let’s agree to disagree with the details and instead evangelize to GaG showing Gods love. Thank you bro :)

    • I can't consider you a Christian when you consider Adam and Eve fiction. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️

  • Why would it be offensive to ask sexual questions, assuming they are real questions? As opposed to "Why do all have?"

  • No, it's not inappropriate. You're right. God invented sex as a means of procreation and enjoyment for married, male and female couples. And yes, how about that Song of Songs , 4:5 and others.

  • I don't feel that it is. It's really up to that person. If they are confident in thier faith and know that they are just asking questions for entertainment or for whatever the reason why not🤷🏾‍♂️

  • It is not offensive or inappropriate.

  • I think it's okay.

  • That's why I'm not a Christian, I'm a Peter:

Do you think its inappropriate or offensive for a Christian to asks sexual questions on social media?
  • I’m christian, I’ve got no issue with it. After all God created sex for our enjoyment. There’s nothing with asking but in regards to acting, God doesn’t want us to abuse our gifts. He wants us to find a stable lifelong partner we can engage in the act with.

  • yes inappropriate

    • Why is that?

    • actually if the questions are too much, that's not good

    • Too much in what way?

  • lol no
