In our personal day-to-day life, my preference - and what I have, by the way - is a partner who is an equal. My intellectual equal, who knows her own mind and who is not afraid to speak it, politely but firmly. A person who I can respect and who respects me and who is my best friend and partner.
(As an aside, my girlfriend and I have been together for 14 years, lived together for 12, and have three of the most beautiful little gifts a woman can give to a man. Gifts who get all excited when I get home and run up shouting, "Daddy!!!")
However, when it comes to sex, I want a woman who is generally submissive and obedient. Whose natural instinct is to submit me and give her naked body to me for my use.
As a man, I need that sense of animal release. When we have sex we are reduced to our most base selves. Shorn of all pretense. I am all that I am and nothing else, giving the most elemental thing a man can give to a woman - my sperm, my seed. My girlfriend is giving herself to me, her naked body for my use and my pleasure and to bear my offspring.
Truthfully, it is very base and very primal and very instinctive. We stop being humans in a way and are just two animals breeding in a field. Doing what nature made us to do and instinct drives us to do. We are all that we are and nothing else, sharing and giving to each other.
Yet here is the funny part. It becomes the most intense intimate love. It is like the whole universe shrinks down to just the two of us. I want her and I need her and when I feel her skin against mine, and when I feel her warmth in my arms and when I feel myself inside her, the sense of connection and intimacy and a sense of sharing and love - and being loved - like I have never known.
It is animal and primal. I feel like a man, raw and bestial, and I feel a sense of physical release. (My girlfriend jokes that I am controlled by my penis.) I also feel warm and safe and love and respected and wanted.
To be sure, sometimes we mix it up and sometimes I do get pleasure from being the submissive one. There is something really hot about just being a piece of meat and that all she cares about is my penis and the pleasure it gives her.
However, that is the exception and not the rule. Overall, though, when she is naked and she is presenting to me is when I feel most turned on. I most feel like a man and paradoxically most loved, wanted and connected because she is giving herself to me in total obedience - and total trust.
I prefer a switch. A girl who can be submissive and dominant. I think it's the most fun when we can both explore our dominant and submissive side.
