Hi!
I’m having a friends with benefits relationship with this guy whom I met during his studies abroad. Long story short: We’re having a good sex life, get really well along and I miss him now that he’s gone. I proposed kind of a long-distance friends with benefits relationship but he has his doubts that it’s going to work due to the distance between us.

I know that we can’t continue as friends because there’s too much sexual tension. We’re no longer at the same university, so there are no more accidental meetings on campus. And we can’t be dating each other because - even though he told me that he’d like to be more than just a sex friend - I don’t feel a spark, although he’s my type and I like him as a person. So, the only option would be to cut off contact...

Why don't you find someone else may be you friend might pursue to something else and you be stuck and waiting for him. It's better to move on and keep him as a good friends.
