Unless you're both interested in each other I don't think it's hot. Bras can be uncomfortable and not wearing one doesn't have to mean something other than just wanting to be comfy. If you're just on friendly terms it doesn't seem sexual to me and thus wouldn't be hot. Would I notice? Maybe, depends on the figure of the person and the kind of hug.

Hug you … amateurs. Most men can tell if you are not wearing a bra from several feet/yards away. As for can a man feel the breast squish when you aren’t wearing a bra depending on the clothing and the woman’s figure most definitely. If you are both wearing like a basic cotton shirt and the woman is not wearing a bra it can be quite apparent almost a little.

typically a bra is wore by a woman. to help carry the weight of her breasts more easily. so provided she has the required upper body/back strength. to deal with the weight of her breasts. I see no real issues with a woman going braless.

if she does not mind the occasional glance or stare from other people around her. mostly guys but also some girls.

bras with little or no padding. also tend to show a woman's nipples through them. same as if she wears a thin material top.

I have found that most woman tend to remove their bra. shortly after returning home or to a more private location. because many find them uncomfortable or have under bust sweat built up from the day. maybe even a few other reasons.
