Humans are to Be Attracted to Each other, That’s The Way We were Programmed - So Why Then Do You Think most Humans Do Not Like The Natural Form?

An example is a girl that doesn’t shave: That’s natural, the way they were made, but yet, most people (most, not all, but most) are not attracted to the natural form like that. Why do you think that is? Do you think we were programmed to be attracted to modifications in people or has society changed people’s views, or both, or neither?

I was thinking about this because a G@G member asked a question about how do guys feel about girls who don’t shave, and some responses from guys were like this:

I won't date a girl who doesn't shave.

I find it unappealing.

Hairy armpits on a woman is gross.

It’s a turnoff seeing armpit hair on a woman.

But, that’s the way all people came, men and women, with hair, and reading some of the responses made me think, so that is why I asked my question above.👍

  • The Beauty industry has gained so much influence, that everyone tries to be as beautiful as the models.

You got beauty standards like no hair anywhere below the neck, thin body but still big boobs and butt, and many more.

Now the problem is, even the professional models, that are considered so beautifull, that the only thing they need to do is exist to earn money, are styled for hours, than photographed for hours and even after that photoshopped for hours, that even these models are not as perfect as the resulting photo, and now the avarage girl tries their best and spents hundreds of dollars to get as close to this overperfection as possible.

So you got a whole industry making money telling people that natural looks are bad.

  • Because most are brainwashed. Whatever the media tells them is attractive... is attractive. If if it isn't. Most people can't think for themselves, so without referencing something they've seen in media, they don't know what attractive actually is

  • That's because body hair is a *male* sexual trait.
Body hair growth is controlled by male androgens, namely testosterone and dihydrotestosterone.

Women have some body hair, because they have some male sexual hormones.
However, because this is an expression of a male sexual hormone, straight men are naturally not going to be attracted to it, because what they are attracted to is the way female sexual hormones are expressed (such as wider hips, bigger breasts, rounder faces with weaker facial structures).

    Our attraction works as intended.
Men are attracted to women with more female hormones and vice versa.
More female hormones = less hair, thus the women who shave are subconsciously going to come across as more feminine.

Obviously, we understand that body hair exists naturally on women, but our biology doesn't care, it's hardwired to be attracted to something, and that's that.

  • It's a great point... Does not make sense to me either... But then again does our natural form include grooming?

  • People set their standards too high, my ex-girlfriend never shaved her private area
and never shaved her legs and I was happy with her at the time we was together it
just so happen we broke up, hey I'm not mad at her and forgive her hey life's too short.

  • It's a cultural thing for sure. Body hair doesn't look bad at all on some girls.

  • Probably learned behavior or learned society preference

  • I'm actually pretty hairless. Been born this way. The hair i do have i shave off. I cut my hair but i shave my beard and mustache, i shave my underarms and my pubes. Im clean shaven. It feels cleaner and cooler for me. Plus it takes me at least a month to grow my beard and any hair i do grow anywhere is so light that its not worth keeping. I mean one strand by each nipple? Yeah its just better to shave it. 😎

  • Women showed us what they were capable of looking like and now going back to what they look like before is not appealing. So it’s women’s fault for putting on all this fake persona that made the standard of beauty escalate to a point where they cannot reach it without a mask of make up and a ridiculous regiment.

  • And what about asexual people?

  • I don't know what u t talking about.. I find the pic super sexy... the girl in the center is just wow.. I wish I cud lick those hairy armpits
