  • Leave it as is.

Myths are that it's cleaner: untrue. While it decreases the *chance* for smegma, all that takes to prevent is a few seconds in the shower and pulling the skin. back. It also lowers getting anaerobic bacteria, but those are part of normal flora.

Here's what changes with cutting: the glans is exposed and becomes dried out, keratinizing, which decreases sensation.

According to studies done, 75-80% of sensation is in the foreskin. If you want to simulate what it would be like not having one, get some EMLA cream and place it on the foreskin, pulled back. Once numb, see how it reacts, and if you enjoy it. Some guys have said it was like losing a sense of taste, or going colorblind, after circumcision. This assumes you don't have nerve damage from the procedure. It's less common in adult men, but can still happen.

Regarding cancer or disease, foreskin has been proven to have anti-infection properties, and cancer differences are extremely rare in both men. You have a higher chance of getting male breasts cancer. As for STDs in general, condoms work far better than cutting.

As for preference, that should be all yours. I personally see no reason to cut, but some guys want it. If you regret it, you don't get to fix it. The skin can be stretched, but the nerve amputation is permanent. Anyone who has a preference for circumcised (really just mutilated) penis has an amputation fetish. It's heavily pushed in the USA, and I have heard almost nothing but body shaming statements from American women, but they'll alsoake fun of a man who had one forced on him and had it botched, so please don't do it for anyone but you.

There really is no reason to do it. Damage is real. Enjoy who you are, and forget anyone who wouldn't accept you as you are. No need to sexually cripple yourself to fit in.

  • Don’t. If your penis works fine as intended and you can clean behind your glans by pulling back all the way you’re totally fine.

The rest is either religious reasons if you’re Jewish or Muslim. American women also are brainwashed that it’s cleaner and try to inflict it on their sons because they’re afraid that an intact penis will lower the chances of their son with girls.

For all girls that say that it’s less hygienic, I’ll see you in the pantyliner isles in the supermarket.

  • I would recommend only doing it if you are of an Abrahamic Faith; otherwise keep it as is.

    • Why would you only recommend it in that particular case?

    • Because it is a sign that you are one of God's people; and not a fashion choice.

    • Oh ok, I understand.

  • Why do you want it?

    • I guess it looks and feels better? And it’s more hygienic?

    • To me, that is fair. Circumcision is for life. Foreskin Restoration is a long process. I had a serious look at it myself. I backed out of it, as the risk to reward ratio was not for me. Currently, I get the circumcised effect and feel by keeping my foreskin pulled back 24/7. I no longer long for a pernament solution. Have a good think about it.

  • you are too old for it, best results comes at young age

    • What will be less good when older?

    • I heard that it' harder to perform circumcision on an adult and some times the result are not as satisfying as when it performed on in terms of how fast the wound heals and stuff, if you already having troubles with your foreskin then sure go ahead with it if everything is fine don't or at least consult a doctor.

    • Ok, thank you!
