I've tried #birthcontrol in the past; it was for a short term but I had a decent #experience with it. I know every #woman 's #body works differently and I wanted to collect as many different informations about the effect b. c has on your body to help #younger#girls in the #gag#community get a better and broader knowledge. Pretty shitty. I was hoping it'd lighten up my period... instead it did the complete opposite and I would have my period for about 17 fucking days in a row. I couldn't have sex as much because I was always bleeding and was always in a terrible mood. I've wanted to talk to my pcm about it, but haven't gotten around to it since covid happened. I'm picking up my refill because I don't want to get pregnant, but I'm not too happy lol.
Damn, I really hope soon you'll find a contraception that will suit you best😔

It was a struggle for a few years. My periods were so bad I would bleed for sometimes up to 14 days and could pass out from anemia or the intense pain. I was put on BC to try and regulate them. Pills didn't work, nuva ring can't fit on my crooked uterus, I was allergic to the patches, the mirena IUD is the only thing that has worked for me so far and I don't plan to ever let it go haha

Interesting reading the comments. My wife used the nuva-ring when we first met, then got an IUD a few years later. Since we had our son two years ago we've just been using condoms/pull out. We're discussing whether we want more kids or not, and if the answer is no I'll be getting a vasectomy.
I had a similar experience like yours; the pills worked well on me, but it did make me gain weight that was unwanted and I was on it for just 5 months and stopped because I got out of a relationship ; I always wonder if it was going to get worse with time or not

Awful. It triggered a brain condition that literally ruined my teen years. I hate BC with a burning passion and I refuse to ever take it or have anything inserted into my body ever again.
