What do you think would be some ways to tell the difference between a sex addict and a regular cheater?

  • A sex addict is having a problem and he/she will be obsessed over sex.
    I think such persons will have constant sexual thoughts and will be making constant sexual advances to their partner or the people they have sex with.
    They may also have the craziest ideas and fantasies, I'm not sure. But I think they'll be ready to try anything.

    A cheater however is a person who seeks another person outside a relationship.
    They may state their own justifications for cheating.
    They can be clever, manipulative, misleading etc.
    They plan the interactions, tell lies and excuses that sometimes don't match if they are not clever enough 🤣🤣🤣.

  • I guess a sex addict or what I prefer to call a nympho LOL she's going to be wanting sex all the time multiple times a day, a regular cheater is just going to be out in the evening or when the other person is working or not around

    • Yes, I think a nympho is the same thing. That's a good point about the timing of it. It's probably true that someone like that wouldn't be able to wait until certain times of day to sneak around.

  • The regular cheater cheats indiscriminately to fulfill their needs.
    The sex addict will happily stay faithful as long as they get to screw their partner 24/7.

    • Yep for sure. Even tho i am pretty sure sex addicts cannot help when they cheat and you could kinda personally judge since they actually have to do it a lot lot. So if you cannot keep up with them and they did a lot self masturbation and still didn't feel enough then i would know. It's sad cause normally they don't want to cheat but they have to because well they be addicted. A girl try and lie about having but i dunno feel i like i would be able to tell. And i am guess for a sex addict kinda needs to be open relationship.

  • A sex addict will stay with you and always talk about sex stuff and try to get you to do things whether you want to, they can be addicted to porn and desert you by going off to their self cause of the porn addiction.

    A person whose regular cheater will make excuses not to be at home
    that they will be working late when deep down their out cheating, some
    times they are quiet and come home, say oh I'm tired I got lay down and
    go to bed, when we know deep down, their tired from a night out with
    someone having sex.

  • Regular cheater is a liar. A sex addict will not be able to help themselves and find some way to satisfy their need.
