I lived in a really bad neighbourhood at some point. I was going to pick up a girl at the metro stop, she was a bit early, so she said we could meet halfway, she wasn't wearing anything provocative and four guys were already following her around and yelling things her way before I met up with her. Luckily I'm quite intimidating, so when they saw me, they left.
In a really bad neighbourhood, the clothes don't even matter.
