Register as a sex offender maybe no. But if you are doing it with the purpose of being seen and that is what arouses you then yes. Now that is gross and completely inappropriate and disrespectful. You don’t know who could see. If may hurt them bc some people are sensitive to that behavior. Children can be physiological damaged. If you have been told to stop and don’t care yeah you should go to jail. Stop it man. You may be lucky to be in your home bc if you are near public property you will get your ass kicked. Rightly so.
I searched you could get up to 6 months in jail and a lifetime sex offense for indecent exposure.. Imagine being in jail because people saw you masturbating in your room..
Maybe close the door. It’s not a difficult thing to do. I think the issue here is that if you consciously do this it’s bc you want to. Millions of people masturbate every day and they are capable of closing a door. It seems that maybe the act of doing it exposed is what you may like. Again you don’t know what people want or don’t want. By keeping a door open you are having people who may not want to see you accidentally (from their part) see you. People who don’t like sex. People who deal with ptsd from sexual harassment. People who simply don’t want to see it. You can’t choose for them and make them see by the exposing yourself.
It's not advisable to do it with the door open but they are looking at you not exposing your self.
Depending on what country you live in here in the UK, it could be indesent exposure. But it's not a sexual crime, that would warrant going on the sex register.

I do believe it is indecent exposure, but I don't believe you should go to prison or register as a sex offender. Maybe a fine but not prison.
