Why does celebrities and girls do expose their whole boobs but just cover their nipples?

Hey Guys, I was just wondering why celebrities and girls while posting their pictures on social media or any sort of media do expose their whole boobs but just cover their nipples.
And why wearing a micro bikini when the whole boobs are exposed but just the nipple is covered..!
What's the point in just covering the nipples?
I'm not saying that they can not show cleavage or whatever but I don't get the point why they just hide their nipples which can easily be imagined by the people seeing.
What is your opinion on this?

Laws, in many places, state that only the nipple is considered "offensive"; if it's not exposed, it's not porn. A person could avoid the whole issue by covering themselves up, but a lot of them want to send a message, and that message is "BOOBS! Also, me.".

It's mostly done to quench a desire for attention or validation, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that, but from what I've seen, a lot of women think that sex appeal is all they have to offer, which I find sad.

Hideing there nipples means they are not fully nude in a lot of legal considerations.

I heard about a strip club that was operating somewhere there was some strict local laws about topless nudity so all the girls wear sticky plasters over there nipples which gets around the law but leaves little to the imagination

Showing nipples isn’t allowed on a lot of social media sites so they could get their posts removed or their accounts banned. And generally people only count it as true nudity if the nipple is visible, so they want to show off without being shamed for nudity, even it’s borderline nudity.

I think it's because it's apparently just the nipple that' sexualized, so they want to show off, without being considered indecent? I mean, women show cleavage, inder-boob, & side-boob, and most people don't bat an eye.

what i find more interesting is: look how women in pornstar award ceremonies are dressed. they are all dressed classy and actually very modest. it's ironic that singers and actors dress more like you'd expect a pornstar to dress in award shows xD

Actually, according me. I myself find a little hard to see boobs more attractive than completely exposed boobs. That seduces me more. So I guess that's the reason.
