Was I over reacting?

Question

I had some problem with room and it is getting fixed now and so my parents asked me to sleep with them for a couple of nights. I agreed but i was a bit weirded to sleep in a sports bra and shorts like i would do when i sleep in my room n so i wore pajamas n all and felt really uncomfortable tbh and knowing that i was not a kid anymore though we are very close. So i decided to sleep on the sofa the third night which is not preferable for sleeping and i felt bad and the fourth night i went back to sleeping with them and actually wore what i would normally wear and not think much about it.. Do you think i over reacted the third day and did i over compensate the fourth day by being too comfortable around them?

probably a bit yeah
it's alright in general to want your personal space but it's really nice of how about you felt and went back with them the fourth night, didn't really have to be in your normal cloth but I don't think it would cause much of a problem since, as you said, you're close so it will be fine I guess :D
it's normal to want to sleep alone I get it I would want the same as well so no problem :D

Poor baby, I wouldn't of , I would have slept on couch. I slept on couch at my place for 10 years because my chihuahua could jump down to use bathroom and he couldn't from a bed. Then for the last two years I have slept on a couch in living room because my mom has Dementia and I can keep an eye on the whole house from there and also Chico could get down there to use bathroom. Chico has died now.

I would find it awkward to sleep beside my parents again. I'm just used to keeping the big bed on my own. But you didn't do anything wrong. It's fine.

I don't think so you were just trying to find the comfortable spot for you to sleep... and after a certain age sleeping aside parents does get a bit weird... And even they know that... So I don't think you had anything to worry...
