Probably better than blindly believing her, but a more accurate formula could probably be created by assigning weights to different risk factors of promiscuity and plugging in the variables. Also age should definitely be part of the formula. The average 30 woman certainly has had more sexual partners than the average 20 year old.

Not legit. The problem is girls have selective memories and won't count guys who lastedva few seconds in bed or that guy she only did because she was drunk.
A better estimate would be 2-4 guys for every month she was single plus one for her dating periods

The magic number is always 7.  5 is too low so she thinks you will suspect the lie and 10 is enough to dump her for being a slut. So she tells you 7 to split the difference.
