Yes, because thinking back to when i was 16, i wouldn't have been prepared/ready to take care of another life. It makes you have to grow up fast cause you can't do what you want anymore, it becomes about the life you created. I think having a lot of support from family and friends would be necessary so that you could finish school, work, take care of yourself and baby, etc. Having a baby so young is hard, but i think it can be manageable when you have the right support. But ultimately it should be your decision. All we can do is tell you the "pros" and "cons" of having a baby at 16. Hopefully you'll be happy with the choice you made. And remember you can't spend life wondering "what if." Think about it and make the decision when you are 10000% sure that is what you want to do without regret.

I'd never get an abortion. I might consider it ONLY if my baby was severely disabled and it would be a drastic medical risk for the both of us to carry out the pregnancy, but if I could I'd carry the baby to term in case they could live. At 16 I was sure I would have kept a baby upon getting pregnant, and I stick by that. I think I'd honestly even rather adopt a friend's kid if they got pregnant than have them get an abortion.

I barely make a little more than my state’s minimum wage rn and I low key struggle.. imagine having to provide for a child.

This is partially why I am not a father. Cause every girl I had a pregnancy scare with, fortunately understood what it means to have to provide for a child.

I get it, it’s cruel to end the life.

But I rather bring children into this world with full confidence knowing I can provide for them and give them good lives than raise them in poverty.

That leads to a whole heap of character building issues for the child

In a New York minute. I think I'm JUST about responsible and able now to look after and raise a child. No way was I able to at 16 - and whatever your views on abortion, in the nature/nurture battle, bad parenting is causing massive mental health and suicide issues now, and IMHO, a life is not a life when it's a clump of a few hundred or few thousand cells

No, I wouldn't even get pregnant cuz I wouldn't have sex at that age or at any other age unless I'm ready for the responsibility of having a child, whether expected or not.
If we assume it was a rape then that's a different story. I think then I might consider an abortion although that will be a tough decision for me, since it's not the baby's fault that his dad is an asshole.

Yes, if I had my mom's permission which I probably would get at the time because she was and is pro-choice and she doesn't want to raise my potential children. (I'm 18 now)
