Can a woman rape a man and if a man is hard does that mean automatic consent?

A while back i was chilling with a friend of mine (a girl) and she asked me if i wanted to have sex with her and i said no because she was a close friend and i liked her as that. She is very pretty so even though i didn't really want to do anything like that with her and wasn't interested in her sexualy i was still hard. She noticed this and kept trying, i said no about 4 times before she just got on top of me and did it anyways. I told her to stop twice before pushing her off and leaving. What does that interaction mean? Was that rape even though she's a girl and I'm a guy? If i was hard does that mean she was allowed? She seemed to think so.

  • Erections are based in the spinal cord (same with ejaculation). While they can be voluntary, based on stimulation, they can be autonomous. Men will typically have an erection each night when sleeping, and sometimes waking in the morning with one. They can have one randomly while awake, too.

Women can take advantage of this, and rape men. I knew a girl who drugged me, and I woke up with her on top. I remember a bit of what happened.

The problem is that the legal system does not recognize female on male rape. Even if it did, in my experience, the police will ignore any complaint and simply laugh in in one's face, possibly calling them some derogatory name. This happened to me when I tried reporting it. The girl did it to three other guys. They were all ignored by the police, and threatened if they talked about it.

It's more common than we admit. Women are every bit as prone to rape as men: society suffers from cognitive dissonance, so women continue the trend.

  • (Not a lawyer!). Legally, in most places what she didn't wouldn't be considered rape (morally is a different matter, but that's subjective). I only know the American laws (though I think it's the same in UK), mostly because I've had cause to look up how they work here and it's too damned depressing to spend your time researching rape laws. The law does acknowledge that arousal is not consent, but the worst you could stick her with here is sexual assault. Still a serious crime, but in most states, the maximum penalty for that is less than the minimum penalty for rape. I'm not saying you should press charges here, just letting you know what the facts are.

It's an unfortunate truth that many women have trouble taking "no" for an answer. Some of them think that being a man means you can't say no, and if you do, it doesn't count.

  • Yes, she practically raped you. She wasn't violent or forceful, but she was persistent, and she abused your erection, thinking that you secretly want to have sex.

  • Yes and no. Consent is a cognitive function, not a biological one.

  • Technically, that's abuse, yes, but you'll find it difficult to prove it, to be honest. She could've given you an STD, not to mention everyone can choose who they want to sleep with, and reject a person even if they find them physically attractive

  • Yes she can and getting a hard in is an involuntary action. It cannot be switched on or off.

  • It means you're a fucking idiot. WTF over.

  • Of course they can, his excitement and orgasm do not equate consent. Women who are raped often do orgasm and that doesn't make it any better at all.

  • Yes they can and no it doesn't.

  • Everything you said and how you feel indicates rape and sexual assault. You did give consent. Its just like a girl who gets wet even though she says no doesn't mean she wants it.

  • Women can and DO rape men. But Society simply disregards it for the most part.

A male can be erect while under medical sedation so being erect doesn’t mean shit.
It’s a basic biological response. Just like a female getting wet and having an orgasm while being raped. It’s a biological response.

  • Men can be raped. While some men can't get hard unless they're willing, others can. You are of the latter. It was rape and your erection doesn't mean you were willing. Women who get raped are sometimes wet, but nobody says they wanted it or weren't raped because they were wet.

    • Some even orgasm

  • It is rape. You know, when women get raped, they get pleasurable sensations because that's how sexual organs work, they eventually give you pleasure by being physically stimulated, but that does not mean consent or that the person likes the experience. What she did was attempted rape, sexual abuse and you pushed her off.

  • automatic consent... right. I'm sure that would stand up in a court case

  • yes and no it doesn't. it is a physical reaction that we have no control over

  • Can a woman rape a man?

    Obviously

If a man is hard does that mean automatic consent

    Of course not

  • I think it's rape

  • Some women orgasm during rape. It is an involuntary response to stimulus. A man can be raped and an erection doesn't mean consent

  • it is a form of rape
