This is what I don't like in relationship.
You need to tell your partner itsy bitsy things.
I mean come on its just a dream. Even in my dream I fuck celebrity stars, my neighbour, her neighbour, a stranger and many more, it does not mean that I'll tell her about it.
You can't change anything it was a dream. And if the guy wants to be that honest that he should have got up from the dream right then before going ahead.
And if the question is about reaction, then I think it would be silly to be irate on this topic.

Umm. . . yeah it would throw me off. That's the kind of thing that's better to keep to yourself. Although people in very faithful and committed relationships can have dreams about sex with any number of persons without that meaning they want to cheat.

It might be a little strange to hear but people can't control what they dream about, I wouldn't be upset with him at all. If I dreamed about someone else I probably just wouldn't mention it and try to forget it, but props to him for being so honest, that's a keeper.
Uhm as much as I like to pretend nothing bothers me, this might be one of those things that put me off.

That's one of those things you just don't have to share and is best kept to yourself. I figured that one pretty early in my first marriage. And never answer the question " if I let you for just one night which one of my friends would you want to sleep with?" 30 years later guys you will be regretting ever letting her name leave your lips. And if you are dumb enough to answer and that woman is in the house visiting just leave. Come back in a month.
