Ladies, I am very confused. Can you explain the following to me?

I suppose that most of you are getting tired of my "Bad Boy" questions by now, but I simply don't understand the following at all and would therefore be happy to hear your opinions again.

As always, I beg you to either answer 100% honestly, or if you can't or don't want to, then please don't answer at all! Everything else confuses me and makes it unnecessarily hard for me.

Based on my previous questions about the "bad boy phenomenon" I have found out that most women consider bad boys to appear very attractive, at least in a purely sexual perspective.
However, in my poll: "Which one of these two men appears more attractive to you as a one-night stand / fuckboy?"

1. "Bad Boy" Jeremy Meeks or
2. "Surfer Boy" Jay Alvarez

Jay Alvarez is clearly in the lead.

In my opinion, he does not look like a bad boy at all, but rather boyish/cute.

So I have the following questions for you:
1. Do you think Jay Alvarez looks more boyish/cute or more like a bad boy, or neither?
2. do you find boyish looking men even more attractive than bad boys?
3. would you consider Jay Alvarez to be even more attractive if you found out that he is a bad boy in real life although he doesn’t look like one?
4. do you have any other explanation why Jeremy Meeks did so much worse in my poll than Jay Alvarez, even though so many women claim that Jeremy Meeks is extremely attractive?

I don't care at all what the result of my questions will be, I just want to know the truth!

  • Well... for one, I think that Jay Alvarez looks fits the boyish/cute aspect more.. I can't speak for the rest, but I don't really think that surfers are really deemed as bad boys in the first place lol. To be honest with you, the entire bad boy/cute boy stigma really doesn't hold a place in my preferences as the way someone looks or the "category" that society puts them in doesn't sway how I feel about them. With that said, I cannot say which I think is more attractive because I genuinely like all types of guys. But for the sake of your question... I would say neither. I mean... really... I would have to say that I am more attracted to the businessman or professor type, who has their shit together and handles it with maturity😊 I think the answer for 4 would be that even though some women like the 'bad boy' type, I don't think that a full on criminal record or criminal at all fits that stigma, as there are probably limits to it. 'Bad boy' is really an act in my opinion... like they play the role but would never really have the courage to commit a major crime or place full-on harm to someone without reason. I don't really get the whole concept but I think that could be a majority of why more people chose Jay instead of Jeremy.

All I care about is which of the two types of men is more attractive. Even if I were the most attractive man on planet earth the idea that a clone of mine who is exactly the same as me, with the only difference that he is an asshole, and only because of that, is even more attractive to women, would not let me fall asleep at night. I would rather be the most unattractive man for women in the world if I knew that my Bad Boy clone would be just as unattractive or even less attractive That’s why I am going to fake this hole Bad Boy image.

I will answer your questions now: „what has got this idea of bad boys stuck in your brain […]“ I always had the impression that most women prefer Bad Boys based on observations in my life. But what made me ask these questions is a good friend of mine who told me the other day why he was rejected by a woman. Let me tell you his story: He's doing an FSJ. (it is German and means: "voluntary social year". This is quite common among young adults in Germany. It is voluntary work for one year after school). He works in a hospital. There he saw another female FSJ participant. They only talked very briefly and quickly exchanged phone numbers. I have to say, he tried to look like a bad boy on purpose. He told me that he also took care to speak in a deep voice 🤦‍♂️😂🤣😅. He looks optically like a bad boy (also wears a leather jacket), but he is not one. In the evening he texted a little with her and she invited him to her room. So he went to her apartment and talked to her for about half an hour. He didn't pay attention to appearing like a bad boy anymore, but was just the way he really is. When he wanted to kiss her, she rejected him, and told him why she suddenly had no interest in him anymore. She said that in the beginning he looked like a bad boy and that this turned her on and that she now noticed that he was actually quite different, namely friendly and kind and therefore lost interest. He told me that he has learned his lesson ☝️ and that this mistake will definitely not happen again to him 😎.

The fact that most women are attracted to bad boys leads to a disadvantage to me for not being an asshole. And this bothers me. You may laugh about my way of thinking on this topic but this is just the logical consequence. But I do not accept to be disadvantaged by nature in any form for morally correct behavior. A woman may not be attracted to me and may reject me for whatever reason but I will ensure that „you are not a bad boy“ will never be the reason.     • Well personally I'd say that a lot of the women looking for a "Bad boy" are probably young and just want to try something that's guaranteed to be new and fun. I mean how many girls actually end up marrying a bad boy, probably not a lot because as people get older they won't stability not erratic behavior.

It definitely has something to do with his face. But his criminal past also makes him more attractive. It's a mix of the two. Most women themselves say they're more attracted to bad boys. It's not about looks. It's about bad behavior. It's about criminal history, dealing drugs and beating people up and all that.

    • @hartleyb There are of course some things you can't influence like for example: supposedly women are totally into very tall men, but you are only 1,70m tall. This is called bad luck. But at least you have no problem with tall men, because there is no reason to have anything against them. Only the bad boy topic is a competition in which you can't participate (because of your own moral convictions) but the women evaluate you as if you had participated and finished last. You look less attractive even though you could have won the competition. It is not fair play. The thing is: I won't accept that I look less attractive than bad boys because of my morally correct behaviour (not becoming a gang member, not beating somebody up for no reason, not being an arrogant asshole and not dealing hard drugs etc.) The reason why I don't deal hard drugs is not because I'm too pussy for it, but because I consider it morally wrong myself to take advantage of someone who has an addiction he can't get himself out of and which might ruin his whole life, just to make some money. So I wouldn't deal hard drugs if it was legal! But the subconscious that is responsible for the sexual arousal of women unfortunately does not understand this.   • Honestly I don’t do hook ups and never will. Also, even if I was to be attracted to a bad boy I still wouldn’t actually place myself in relationship with them and put myself through that as ik it wouldn’t end good. I might’ve chosen one if I was younger and still learning or rebelling a bit at times. I learn quick so I would want a clean looking gentlemen who will actually be serious, able to provide and reciprocate and take care of me the way I do for him as well as love. This type of guy will be more stable and mature, he would be a choice not an option and someone I could see myself having a future with which is way more better and important.

    • Anytime! Haha truth is sometimes I can still be into them, it just depends but at the end of the day I wouldn’t want to waste my time and know how it ends from observation in real life and movies. I would still choose a more serious and future oriented guy. I’m not one to be used...

  • i quite like that you are conducting a very detailed and long research on this. However it's common to be confused by the internet because you have all sorts of answers and opinions.
    I think Jay Alvarez is more boyishly cute than bad boy type. This was purely based on the available info we were given, what they did and their looks.
    My preference are both, but i have a theory that this is somewhat based on the girls age. A girl below 20 (including maturity) will more likely choose a more boyish guy with associated childishness ( bad boys) as their preference as opposed to older woman who want manly boys ( mostly good guys). Q3- As per my previous answer to your question, I wouldn't be more attracted to Jay Alvarez more just because he's a good guy cuz that's not what i look for in a guy. Q4- Jay Alvarez has an advantage in the looks department- his heterochromia, i think that helped him do much better than Jeremy Meeks, along with the fact that Jeremy was a sex offender, which should scare off whoever wanted to vote for him cuz they dont wanna die.

  • I know what you are saying. I know girls who like boyish men like (Ashton Kutcher). I like manlier looking guys like excuse me but (Patrick Bateman) lol... not the character.
    Girls like masculine men and bad boys tend to display aloofness which comes across that they are in control of their emotions when in reality he just doesn’t care. You can see how that can come across as attractive... Also they are usually dominating! maybe they’re being slightly abusive or rude but it is coming across as being dominant to women. Again that is attractive to women. Because most women aren’t the Hard logical type they can’t tell the difference. But it’s hard wired as you can see.

If you are logical you will understand that an emotional women will see a rude man as dominant and not be able to discern the difference between Uncaring vs Dominate in control of his emotions man.

      I'm glad it's different with you, but according to my poll, 60% of women themselves say that they like bad boys. Is it true that women find a man attractive as either a long-term mate or a short-term mate, but not for both? ↗

      Unfortunately I have to doubt the 40% of women who claim that they do not find this type of man attractive. One woman mentioned that she does not like men at all and therefore voted against Bad Boys. Another one says that she is asexual. And with the other women I unfortunately have to assume a dark figure, because many women (for whatever reason) think that it would be morally reprehensible to find bad behaviour sexually attractive or do not want to admit it for reasons unknown to me.
      There are tons of videos on YouTube of street surveys where women are asked if they prefer bad boys or good guys and most say bad boys. It's especially extreme when the polls take place at night in front of a club when the women are a bit drunk (and therefore probably more honest). Then it is something like 85%.

      To sum it up: I guess you are more of an exception and one of these 15% of women I could consider marrying one day 😘

    He is attractive but I think women are not that visual as in comparison with men. We are keen on behavior of the guy. Like the appearance matter but just not too much. I am saying for the majority of women. Minority are welcomed too!
