Guys, boyfriend lasted a long time in bed but says he was a virgin?

Hey, so my boyfriend says he was a virgin when he met me (said no other girl has even seen his dick in real life). When we had sex i was surprised he lasted a long time (maybe 20 minutes or so). We had only put the tip in for that but, when we actually put it all the way (about a month later) his friends kept calling. We were doing doggy and i turned around and he was texting his friends to shut up. He at one point even propped the phone on my back texting them. I was really pissed. He apologized later on but i kept thinking (if this guy was a virgin why was he on his phone, maybe he was already boasting to his guy friends lol ). He really is type A personality; and claims that he was a virgin because he told his friends right after it happened and they said congratulations to us.
