- I think its a case of hearing something so many times that it becomes the truth to them. As humans if we hear something enough, it becomes a assumed truth. Also if we hear something enough times it becomes a truth and gets wedged in our internal dialog. It can be a hard thing to accept because it could be a complete lie with no concrete evidence to back it up. But it still becomes the truth to us.0|00|0Is this still revelant?
- I knew it when I was a teen/young adult. I thought it was such a ripoff as we were mostly too young to get laid when we were crazy horny :p0|00|0Is this still revelant?
We stay horny into our early to mid 20s so we can definitely still capetalize on it, it's just a bit of a ripoff that we shoot most of our best years into a sock :P
I think most younger guys are willing to go for older women if the older women show interest, it's just more intimidating than going after girls your own age.
There's also the concern of a power imbalance, the older member in an age-gapped relationship has a lot of experience/leverage over the younger party so can usually manipulate them fairly easily (whether they mean to or not).

Wow that's sad. I'm glad this question is opening up the conversation to slowly tear down a stereotype. Most younger women are still learning about there's sexuality when they're young. Then most become entitled, once we realize how much of a hold we have on men because make it easy. As we age, our hormones start getting the best of us and finally we start to realize in our 30s (maybe 40s) how men felt in their teens.

My old manager was a woman who was like 35. And she used to harass me in front of everyone.

i do think most younger men believe that. "cougar" is common slang for sexually promiscuous "older" women for a reason. however younger guys usually don't care, cause guys are usually more attracted to younger girls.0|00|0 - As a 19 year , having just passed British Army Para Selection & out celebrating... was dragged home by a woman in her early 30's... and nearly eaten alive as well. I certainly had the stamina & drive then , lost interest now... good job too , I 'm a single dad ! After that I knew about 30ish would be my target age and that still stands true now even thought im older. Yes. No one warned me... not even my mother. I'm talking to older women who already went through that. One of them said that men go through this in middle/high school but women in their 30s. How unfair.

I don't know about that lol. There was this one girl I used to be close friends with (it was completely platonic but we were close). We were at the bar together one night and these two guys sitting next to us told me that my friend was nerdy. I laughed and said that I was nerdier than her.
She misheard me and thought I said I was dirtier than her. She had her mouth wide open and had this giant smirk on her face. Me and the other two guys corrected her and told her I said nerdier not dirtier. She got embarrassed at first but then got prideful again and with a smug look she said: "I was going to challenge you." We were both 22 at the time but we were both turning 23 later that same month (our birthdays are both in May 1996 but 2 weeks apart with me being the older one).
