Why don't younger guys believe women in their early 30s have a high libido?

Let's just say now I know what 18 year old males go through.

  • I think its a case of hearing something so many times that it becomes the truth to them. As humans if we hear something enough, it becomes a assumed truth. Also if we hear something enough times it becomes a truth and gets wedged in our internal dialog. It can be a hard thing to accept because it could be a complete lie with no concrete evidence to back it up. But it still becomes the truth to us.

  • I knew it when I was a teen/young adult. I thought it was such a ripoff as we were mostly too young to get laid when we were crazy horny :p

    • We stay horny into our early to mid 20s so we can definitely still capetalize on it, it's just a bit of a ripoff that we shoot most of our best years into a sock :P I think most younger guys are willing to go for older women if the older women show interest, it's just more intimidating than going after girls your own age. There's also the concern of a power imbalance, the older member in an age-gapped relationship has a lot of experience/leverage over the younger party so can usually manipulate them fairly easily (whether they mean to or not).

  • Because those young boys don’t know better! I’m not talking about being “attractive”, I’m talking about being “sexy”. Being sexy is about attitude and how you carry yourself, not necessarily how you look or what you’re wearing.

    Gals in their early 20s try so hard to be sexy, but are still mentally and emotionally insecure about their sexuality.

    By age 30, most women reach really comfort with their bodies and their sexuality. At this point, most gals carry themselves as sexual beings without shame and ridicule. It’s a subtle attitude and body language that is true genuine sexiness. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it! It’s alluring 🙂

    • I agree. When I was 22, I noticed this 38 year old lady very secure in her skin. She had this way of not totally coming on to you but the way she carried herself was.. playful per say. Very feminine.

  • Beats me. I was 19 with a 29 year old. Who at 29 she later turned 30... we definitely engaged a ton of sex together. Granted, I cannot say the same for mid to late 30 something women. They are hit or miss.

    i do think most younger men believe that. "cougar" is common slang for sexually promiscuous "older" women for a reason. however younger guys usually don't care, cause guys are usually more attracted to younger girls.

  • As a 19 year , having just passed British Army Para Selection & out celebrating... was dragged home by a woman in her early 30's... and nearly eaten alive as well. I certainly had the stamina & drive then , lost interest now... good job too , I 'm a single dad ! It's probably because mid teen - 20's males are cursed with by far the highest sex drives overall , due to testosterone levels & likely believe NO women will ever experience that.

  • I think women in their late twenties onwards start to crave sex and attention. They know they are getting older by that time so they are wired to be more open about it then girls in early age.
