How often do you wear a suit (guys)/dress (girls)? How often do you prefer you partner wear a suit/dress?

I never found anything sexy about a suit. Just makes you wanna choke em with a tie 🤣 just Kiddin... but only time i need the dude in a suit is when we marry 🤷‍♀️ Other than that i need 90% of the time to be casual. I like my men in sneakers... not those oxford, stacy adam thingys 🤣🙈 He has to accept that i only wear a dress to like graduations and crap... not even to church 🤷‍♀️ At this point, i haven't worn a dress since i graduated from college in 2017. So yea 90% of the time im casual

  • I love wearing dresses, but mostly just casual sundresses and things like that. I wear them probably at least once a week, and always to church. I feel like they're casual enough that they're nowhere equivalent to a suit though. Fancy events are always a nice excuse for me to wear a dress.
As for guys, I love when they dress down a bit. A guy in a hoodie is one of my biggest weaknesses. Maybe not sweatpants 24/7, but I don't much like guys in suits unless it's for an occasion that really calls for it.

    • Yes i love men in hoodie and sweats and converse or forces or trainers

  • I wear dresses often enough, when they are the closest thing in the wardrobe. I go to my lectures dressed up, suited and booted some days and the next in leggings and a nerdy tshirt.
Unless I am working where I need to be smart (then it is either trousers and shirt or a nice dress) I just grab whatever for classes, going out in the daytime or my other work and volunteering stuff.
If I go out on a date or in the evening, it is always dresses

    • Oh nice

  • I've worn a suit once in my life, and it was a rental for senior prom. It's not that I dislike wearing a suit, it's just that there hasn't been an appropriate occasion since then. It will probably only be something I wear once every several years to weddings and such, because even once I enter the workforce, my job won't ever require me to wear one. In fact, in my industry I'll get away with more casual clothing than just about any other industry.

    • You in construction?

    • No. I'll be working as an artist for video game development companies. They're known to be rather informal.

  • I work in investment banking in analytics. So most of the time yes. But casual fridays we get to wear jeans with an unbuttoned collared shirt which rocks. Soon as I get home I change into some sports shorts, a tank top and hit the gym after work before supper.

    • Oooo nice i never imagined you in a suit. I mean im not saying i am now but i kinda am. But not for long so dont worry 😂🙈

    • It was a hard adjustment coming from a biker redneck small town. But I like to think I pull off the style pretty nicely. Got my long hairstyle cut short and spiked, thin shaved around my jawline. My mother almost didn't even recognize me last time I was home. Used to have the typical burnout long skater hairstyle look with bangs near my eyes, back of my hair touching my shoulders. Definitely like the crew cut a lot more. I look far more professional and hansom.

    • Kind of like long dark brown hair and skater clothes I used to wear with stuff like nike shoes, timberlands, and ripped jeans (still love ripped jeans a lot with a tight fitting black t and chain hainging down for the bars on the weekend with my mates and stylish belt). Old hairstyle used to look like luke skywalker during return of the jedi in dark brown.

  • My clothes outside work are business casual management style - they look like things you would wear to a job interview but they are comfortable and cheap

    • Yea i wear sweats almost everywhere

  • I love that dress in E. Slits and heels really so it for me.

    • Yea i hardly wear dresses but when i do, its usually a tight mini 🤣

    • That surely works. With classic stiletto pumps I hope?

    • Are your legs a big asset for you? Or your booty? Or both?

  • I mean I live summer dresses and wear them here and there. But by the photos, I'm assuming your talking about formal wear. I'll dress up for special formal occasions - a work event, gala, fundraiser. A nice dinner at a restaurant that has a dress code. To a wedding.

    • It can be casual or formal dresses. I dont wear either lol

  • Dress up when necessary... Weddings, or event that calls for it... But I don't go anywhere anymore so 🤷🏼‍♀️ lolol I hated dresses growing up, but do wear lose dresses around the house when my back hurts bad, sometimes just more physically comfortable but then hate that I'm wearing dress 🙄🤣

    • Even to weddings, i wear like blouse and slacks... jeans if everyones goin casual lol

    • Leggings are only pants I wear comfortably, I had a pair A jeans I looked pretty good in, but they bother my back to much, I'll be barely in the door ripping em off 🤣🤣

    • I prefer sweats

  • Because of my job (I’m a pilot) I have to wear a suit always at work. But I like it anyway, I think a girl looks sexy in a pilot suit, hahaha.

    • I mean i like wearing blazers and skinniez for interviews but thats about it

    • Oh ok. Those kind of suits not much, haha

  • I don't wear them but one thing: women in suits 😍😍

    • Yea i actually like how i look in a blazer with fitted slacks/pants yet dont care for dudes in suits haha

    • They usually look like normal and not big deal but women are so gorgeous

  • I will wear a dress on a rare occasion. Before the pandemic when my husband had to go to office for work he had to wear a suit every day. Working from home he does not miss not having to dress up.

    • Lol i bet he doesn't

  • i wear it on sundays and weekdays the rest time im in comfortable work cloths dont see how people with money can wear that itchy stuff

    • I know right haha

    • yeah its really annoying that its required though.

  • I wear a suit when it’s appropriate to wear a suit, like when going to the theatre.

I don’t wear one when going to Chili’s at 11pm on a Friday because that would
    be stupid.

    • Lmao

  • I wear a suit any time that I have a court appearance or when I have a meeting with a client. That is usually at least three times per week.

    • Lawyer?

    • Guilty as charged, Your Honor!

  • I don't like them (they're uncomfortable), but I wear a suit to work. Almost never outside of work. Really, it's just the ties I hate.

    • Do they choke ya?

    • After a few hours, yeah, they feel like it. I think ties are the male equivalent of high heels that women walk around in. They look good on you, but they're really not comfortable.

  • Hardly ever

    • Yea not my style either

  • Weddings, Funerals and Job Interviews, otherwise, HELL NO!! Hate "monkey suits"! Ties can be dangerous too!!

    • Monkey suits?

    • What they called Suits, before your time! Corporate "Monkeys" and kiss-ass pricks in suits? Never heard that?

  • I only wear a suit when I use my sexy voice to get Desi dizzy on the phone...

    • Lmao 🤣

    • Dont have these people thinkin we really gettin eachother off 😂

    • I'm referring to your previous post... and I don't have a suit on anyway... 😂 😂

  • I use to have a blazer but really I have never worn a real suit a day in my life. The closest i get on rare occasions is a button up and dress pants. I geuss I'm not very classy lol

    • Most of us aren't

  • I wear skirts and dresses fairly often. If I had to choose either pants or dresses for the rest of my life, I would pick dresses.

    • Opposite for me lol

    • To each her own. We all have our own styles. The world would be pretty boring if we didn’t!

  • This is one of those things that drive me crazy. Guys get stuck with a stupid suit and women get a seemingly endless amount of business dress options. They probably have a store based mainly just on that. You simply can't do that with suits 😞 but to your question, currently.. job interviews, weddings and funerals

    • You need to be happy that you're a man. I've seen many different designs of suits. You just have to search harder

    • I am trying... I think that will be a key for me. Thanks desii :)

  • Except when working out, I wear skirts and dresses whenever practical. I really don't like the fit or look of pants.

    • Oh i see

  • I like dressing up and wearing dresses, but with my way of life and career. It's hard to find the time to wear pretty dresses.

So about once maybe twice a month. I force myself the time to do so.

    • Well thats nuce

  • only on rare occasions like weddings etc... normally i prefer the smart casual look, jeans and shirt

    • Yea casual is preferred
