What do you think about sexual services for cash like escort/prostitution/happy ending massages/sugars?

So I’ve been noticing more political discussions on YouTube about equality in particular regards to women lately. Feminism and the #metoo movement seems to have pushed men off of women and marriage almost entirely. Or course this has me wondering, “you get your something from somewhere”. I’m wondering if it’s smash and dashes, cheating relationships, open relationships or sexual services.

Considering more women are all about their careers, do you think such services should be legalized. I’m particularly interested in the feminists thought and how they see it today.

  • I am so sick of this narrative. That men are ahead in everything. Litterally the only thing men are ahead of women in is money making. Litterally in every category women are ahead of men. School. Longevity. Going to jail. Getting Alzheimer's. Parkinson's. Cancer. Heart attack. Custody battles. Abandoning kids. Doing drugs. Being a good driver. Credit scores. Men to the contrary, are in desperate need of help.

    • You might wanna review your statistics... otherwise agree. The countries unfair to men.

  • I've used sexual massage services and prostitutes so I'm definitely for them being legalised

    • I’ve been considering a sensual massage myself recently. I work too much to really devote time to any relationship and my jobs a tough physical job so a massage sounds nice. At the same time I’m not interested in dropping hundreds for an escort. Was an idea from a friend who offered me a good deal lmao

    • Go for it. You may enjoy it and have them regularly

  • I think they should be legalized for adult clients and sex workers only, but also regulated and monitored to prevent pregnancies and the spread of STDs. Prostitutes should be required to go on birth control and use contraceptives or get sterilized. They should also be required to submit periodic STD tests. And I am a feminist.

    • Oh really? I was not expecting this take from your side of the isle. 10-15 years ago before you were even thinking about sex feminists were arguing trading sex for cash was sexualizing the female body and therefore was a bad thing. Considering how the view of sex has changed for your generation though I guess it’s not that surprising. While I agree with most of what you said sterilizing women’s not an option. Birth control and condoms are usually enough. Especially female condoms... Jesus them things are tough.

    • The sex industry will continue to exist whether prostitution is legal or not and this way we can make sure it’s safer for everyone involved. Even without worrying about STDs and pregnancy, prostitutes are very vulnerable to violent pimps and clients and they don’t feel safe reporting their abusers or assailants because they’re criminals too. So I think everyone in the sex industry would be safer if it was legal and there were established guidelines. Birth control and a condom should be enough but for prostitutes who refuse to go on birth control, either she or every client must be sterilized.

    • Na sterilizing can’t be undone I disagree. Besides it’s stds we have to properly manage and condoms fix this and more. But they def need a insert and a condom at least. Also legalizing prostitution would give reason to traffic and child/prostitution which is why they cracked down hard on it. bunnyranch in Nevada is the only legal brothel I think.

  • In germany sex work has been legalized for years and it works pretty well. I don't see why so many countries are so restrictive about it.

    • Western views of sex are different. In I think Nevada USA is the only legal brothel in the USA.

    • Also because of trafficking
