In my experience with non-dick objects, most women are terrible at spatial orientation and measurements. It's really not that surprising, though - how many women need to measure things as part of their regular job/routine? Tons of men have jobs where measurements have to be taken (or estimated) constantly, from design to construction to engineering to mechanics and so on. I'm an Audio/Video Integrator, and I have to measure spaces for speakers, to center TVs on walls, to install ceiling-mounted WiFi access points, and all kinds of other things. Women rarely have jobs or do regular tasks that require constant measuring of things, so they just lack practical experience doing so.
I can ask for a #2 Phillips screwdriver, 10" long, and I can tell from across the room if the person assisting me is trying to bring me an 8" long or 12" long screwdriver, and can tell them to go back and get the right one. I can look at a speaker in a ceiling, or a piece of conduit in the ground, and tell you the measurement, because I do that all the time. That's just not typical for women. Obviously women are perfectly capable of learning this skill, and a few women who DO have those kinds of jobs are as good at it as any guy - but that's very much the exception to the rule.
It's all about genetics what I'm about to say is generalisation and not rule as there are always exceptions: -
It's all due to evolution from the hunter gatherer society :
Men where the hunters so generally focused on single tasks waiting for an animal to capture. So throwing spears ment having to judge timing and distance to survive. Also hunting requires being quiet so men tend to not have to talk much when hanging out.
Women where the gathers so generally stayed at home looking after the children, preparing food, and gathering together everything brought back from the hunt or from plants etc. None of this required any spatial awareness as you don't need to judge how far or when to throw a spear at a bush. You cook what needs cooking store what doesn't and keep the kids in order giving you excellent mutiskilling abilities.
You also would share your techniques with other so communication is a strong point.
Things have changed over time but these basic upbringings have ingrained in us for a long time. If the roles where reversed think how society would be different!

I doubt if the majority of women can. I've rarely seen one talk in inches or centimeters. They almost always use their hands to show size. And even then, I suspect that they inadvertently exaggerate in the same way men exaggerate the size of the fish that got away.

I don't think most can. Usually they are way off or overestimate my actual size by at least 2-3 inches most times. A lot seem to think an inch is actually a lot smaller than it is so I hear a lot of 8-9 range guesses but I'm only 7".

My roommates are international students from niger and one's from south africa, so I'm the small one of 4 in the apartment.
In Canada I believe most guys here are between 5.5-6inches. But if you include most guys being +/1 an inch on both ends likely 70% of the white Canadian men are between 4.5inches - 7inches. And them some are 2-3.5 (usually the Asians) and some are freaks of nature with 8inch logs (no fucking clue how many dudes are this big but I tend to think maybe less than 2% would be.

I think you know for sure at a clance how its gonna feel in you, but I dont think all women have tape measure vision. So i dont think your scientifically accurate but you know what you like when you see it.
