Is it okay or not?

Question

I was very tomboyish and boyish with my appearance and stuff in my teens even to the point i went out with a girl where i behaved like her boyfriend but in the last few years my outlook has changed and my physical appearance has changed i dont quite know how to dress girly as of yet so many a times i have ended wearing something too low neck or too revealing and had my folks and relatives embarrassed and often been talked to about it on many counts and soemtimes very explicitly.. Is it okay or should i go back to being tomboyish?

had a kind of similar problem bc I went from having my clothing completely controlled to moving out and developing a taste in fashion

But bc I was used to everything being inappropriate ( except basically floor length grey or brown smock) I couldn’t really tell if something was or wasn’t

That’s how the clothing posts I used to do, began.

I just really had no clue so I asked like every day for a year lol

It actually helped a lot I have a much better idea on how people see things

Also what I’m ok with personally -Independent to if what other people think..

I don’t think a good solution is to go back to before

just learn what you are comfortable with and keep moving forward 😊😊

Just do whatever you want. That is the freedom of choice you have from being a person and if it makes you happy it is the correct choice. If you are worried how others will view your behavior be they tomboyish or otherwise do not be worried. There are millions of people who find that charming and many more that do not mind it either way.

As such you are free to be however you want and free to change whenever you want just like how you have the choice of what clothes to wear every morning.

It sounds to me that instead of criticising you They should have been guiding and helping you through this difficult time Was there no one who could go shopping with you Help choose appropriate clothing that you felt comfortable in There is no ok or not It matters you are happy about who you are Dont change for others be who you want to be

How bout You find a guy friend and ask His opinion on what is acceptable or not and ask Him to go shopping with You in exchange for lunch or something. Most men have a general idea of what is slutty and conservative so a general rule is to stay in between.

its alright trust me being a tomboy isn't bad but most guys aren't into it tho but i suggest you ask your mom or find some girls to help u turn back into a girl
